極支持管１の溶融させた部分１ａが発光管３の端キャッ
プ４の外側に位置するようにして該電極支持管１を端キ
ャップ４に挿通固定したことを特徴とする高圧放電灯の
電極支持部。 ２ 電極支持管１がニオビウムをもって構成されており
、電極８棒２がタングステー／をもって構成されている
ことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の
高圧放電灯の電極支持部。 ３ 電極支持管１は、電極８棒２を固定するための溶融
部を含めていかなる部分においても加工前の外径よりも
突出した部分を持たないことを特徴とする実用新案登録
