Claims

Fit a matching sleeve into the receptacle, fit the ferrule attached to the optical fiber wire with the end surface of each optical fiber wire to be joined flush with the end surface of the optical fiber wire to be joined in the matching sleeve, and fit both ferrules. A structure of a matching sleeve for an optical fiber connector, characterized in that an inner wall of the matching sleeve is formed with a groove extending from one end surface to the other end surface.
