Claims

In a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between high-temperature gas and low-temperature fluid and recovers waste heat, a bypass having an opening/closing mechanism is provided in the high-temperature gas distribution section and/or the low-temperature fluid distribution section, and an outlet of the high-temperature gas distribution section is provided. A heat exchanger characterized in that a temperature sensor is provided on the side thereof, and a control mechanism is provided for operating the opening/closing mechanism in accordance with a detection signal from the temperature sensor.
