放電灯用安定器の回路図、第５図及び第６図は同安定器
の特性曲線図である。
第４図において、１・・・交流電源、２・・・単巻漏洩
変圧器、３・・・進相用コンデンサ、４・・・線形リア

形リアクトル４と高圧放電灯５を直列に接続するととも
に、高圧放電灯５と並列に該高圧放電灯５を始動させる
ための始動回路６を接続してなり、前記進相用コンデン
サ３のインピーダンスＸＣに対する前記線形リアクトル
４のインピーダンスＸＬの比ＸＬ／ＸＣを０．１５以上
