Conventionally, in order to coat a base fabric with vinyl chloride resin (hereinafter referred to as "PVC"), it has been generally carried out by a calender 1 during rolling using equipment as shown schematically in Figure 1 of the accompanying drawings. By topping a sheet 3 of PVC2 to a base fabric 4 via a counter roll 5 to form a laminate 5, or by means of an installation as schematically shown in FIG. After passing the pVC film 6 together with the base fabric T through a heating furnace 8, the laminate 11 is formed between a mold roll 9 and a counter roll 10 by either embossing or by embossing. ing.

However, when observing the cross section of the product manufactured by either method, the base fabric is not folded into the PVC layer, but the base fabric is on the side where the PVC is joined. Not only one side, but also the opposite side 5 are not covered with PVC. Therefore, in this state, the fibers or threads constituting the base fabric cannot be fixed by the PVC layer. Now, this can be illustrated schematically in Figures 3 to 5 on page 0 of the attached drawing.

That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the calendar 1 and counter roll 5 shown in FIG. 1 or the mold roll 9 and counter roll 10 shown in FIG. , 14-5, a base cloth 15 and a molten PVC or heated PVC film 16 are placed between the molds 13 and 14, and then, as shown in FIG.
, 14 are heated and pressurized to form the base fabric 1 as shown in FIG.
A product 17 is obtained by combining PVC 15 with 6.
As you can see from this Figure 5, product 1? In this case, the PVC 15 is inserted into the gaps or holes formed between the fibers or threads of the base fabric 16, or the fibers or threads of the base fabric 16 are left exposed. Therefore, these fibers or threads are not secured by PVC515. However, when such products are used, for example, as raw materials for manufacturing other products, various inconveniences arise. For this purpose, conventionally, in order to completely cover the base fabric with PVC,
In the case of calendering, the uncoated side of the base fabric is again topped with PVC, while in the case of embossing, the PVC film is simultaneously pulled from both sides of the base fabric from the beginning, or The method used was to align the PVC in two steps on each side of the cloth. However, coating both sides of the base fabric with PVC in two steps, or coating both sides of the base fabric with PVC at the same time, is extremely difficult in terms of the required process time or amount of materials. This is uneconomical. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a new method that can firmly fix base fabric zero fibers or threads with PVC by coating only one side of the base fabric with PVC. It is something to do. Hereinafter, the method of the present invention will be explained based on FIGS. 6 to 10 of the accompanying drawings showing the outline of its implementation. First, the principle of the method of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8, which show the principle of the method using a planar mold using model diagrams. Even in the method of the present invention, a pair of molds 20,
21 is used, and the surface of one of these molds 21 is engraved with a large number of deep depressions so that a large number of small peaks and valleys are formed on the surface.

As shown in the figure, the base cloth 22 is brought into contact with the mold 21 provided with the recesses, and the molten PVC or heated PVC film 23 is placed thereon, and then, as shown in FIG. After pressurizing molds 20 and 21 under heat, mold 2

In this case, as can be seen from FIG. 7, according to the method of the present invention, when both molds 20 and 21 are pressurized, the base fabric 22 is held on top of the mold 21, while the molten PVC or The PVC film 23 penetrates through the gaps between the fibers or threads of the base fabric 22 and fills the valleys formed in the lower mold 21, and this resin penetrates the fibers or threads of the base fabric 22 from below. Since it is covered, the base fabric 2 is coated with the PVC 23 on the top surface.
2 becomes almost completely covered by PVC 23. The principle of the method of the present invention is as explained above, and by applying this principle, an apparatus for carrying out the method of the present invention industrially by topping or embossing is schematically shown and sized. These are shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, respectively.

That is, in FIG. 9, 30 is a calendar, 31 is a counter roll, 32 is a base fabric, 33 is molten PVC, and 34
is a product, and the counter roll 31 has deep depressions made up of many peaks and valleys formed on its surface, and after undergoing the same process as the conventional process, the base fabric 32 is made of PV.
The product 34 is covered with PVC 33, and the cross section of the product 34 is as shown in FIG. 8, with the base fabric 32 embedded in the PVC 33. Also. In FIG. 10, 40 is a heating furnace, 41 is a mold roll, 42 is a counter roll, and 43 is a heating furnace.
is the base fabric, 44 is the PVC film, and 45 is the product.
The counter roll 42 has deep depressions made up of numerous peaks and valleys formed on its surface. The base fabric 43 is made of a PVC film 44 through a process similar to the conventional process.
However, the product 45 has a base fabric 43 embedded in PVC 44, as shown in cross section in FIG. The base fabric used in the present invention includes both woven and nonwoven fabrics, and the fibers include natural fibers. It may be either synthetic fiber or inorganic fiber.

As described above, according to the method of the present invention, when covering the base fabric with PVC by topping or embossing,
Even if PVC is applied to only one side of the base fabric, it can be done in one step.
Since the fibers or threads of the base fabric can be embedded in PVC and covered, it greatly contributes to simplifying the process and saving materials.
