This Rasen technique involves inserting thin or thick shell pieces into lacquer or a base, or pasting them on a slope, and polishing them together with lacquer to coat the surface with the base material of the shell pieces. It was used to create a decorative effect, and the series of production processes required a lot of time and skill, and required extremely advanced techniques.

An embodiment embodying the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. A transparent synthetic resin plate G of an appropriate size is constructed such that a transparent portion with an appropriate pattern is formed on the plate. Turn the back side of G up and draw a pattern O as shown in Figure 2 on the back side with an opaque coloring material such as paint.

Next, on the back surface of the resin plate G in the transparent part through which the light passes,
A transparent unsaturated polyester resin liquid P to which a catalyst for curing at room temperature and a curing accelerator have been added in advance is spread thinly as shown in FIG. 3A.

Then, on top of the spread, thin plate-shaped shell pieces S cut into pieces larger than the transparent part are pasted on each location as shown in Figure 3B, and lightly pressed with fingers or a stick on the pasting surface. Make sure that there are no air bubbles in the shell pieces S

In addition, at this time, the shell piece S was directly pasted on two surfaces of the unsaturated polyester resin liquid poured on the resin plate G, but a small amount of the same unsaturated polyester resin liquid P was applied on the surface of the shell piece S by four cloths. You may wear it.

In this completed state, when looking at the resin plate G from the front side, you can see that the shell piece S stuck inside the transparent part of the design
The brilliance of the pattern stands out and you can admire the design with its own unique taste.

In addition, in this way, the shell pieces S are mixed with the unsaturated polyester resin liquid P.
The colored unsaturated polyester resin liquid CP is sealed without any gaps and is adhered to the resin plate G, so that it is thin and not bulky as a whole, and the colored unsaturated polyester resin liquid CP
, shell piece S, unsaturated polyester resin liquid P and resin plate G
Since it is composed of an integrated state, it gives off a wet shine, and when the shell piece S is viewed from the front side of the resin plate G, it can be seen more clearly, and the surface of the shell piece S can be polished without polishing. It has a similar effect.

In addition, since the shell pieces S are covered with the unsaturated polyester resin liquid P and the colored unsaturated polyester resin liquid CP, even if the shell pieces S are extremely thin or brittle, they can be protected. Since the entire back surface of the shell piece S was coated with the colored unsaturated polyester resin liquid CP colored in the same color as the shell piece S, there is a gap between the outer periphery of the shell piece S and the outer periphery of the transparent part, or between each shell piece S. Even if gaps are formed, they are not easily visible and do not impair the decorative effect at all.

Furthermore, since the colored unsaturated polyester resin liquid CP is poured after the transparent unsaturated polyester resin liquid P between the shell pieces S and the resin plate G has hardened to the point where it does not flow, the colored unsaturated polyester resin The liquid CP does not mix into the transparent unsaturated polyester resin liquid P and the transparent resin liquid P is not contaminated.

Therefore, the color of the shell pieces S is not impaired, and it is possible to create an ornament that effectively utilizes the color of the shell pieces S.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIG. 4. After drawing the pattern O with opaque paint to form a perspective view as in the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4A, An unsaturated polyester resin liquid P containing a room temperature curing catalyst and a curing accelerator is poured into the transparent area.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4B, shell pieces S cut in advance to a size matching each transparent part are fitted into each transparent part and pasted in the same manner as in the first embodiment. A colored unsaturated polyester resin liquid CP colored in the same color as the shell piece S is poured over the shell piece S as shown in FIG. 4C, and is sealed and hardened.

1. After forming a transparent part in an appropriate pattern shape by drawing a pattern on the back side of a transparent or semi-transparent plate of an appropriate size using an opaque material, add a reaction accelerator so as to include at least the transparent part. Pour the transparent unsaturated polyester resin liquid on the back side of the plate, then adhere a thin plate-shaped shell piece without any gaps so that it is located inside the transparent part, and then make sure that the unsaturated polyester resin liquid inside the transparent part does not flow. When the shell pieces have hardened, a reaction accelerator is added and an unsaturated polyester resin liquid colored almost the same as the shell pieces is poured and hardened to enclose the shell pieces. A method for manufacturing a decorative article using resin, characterized in that the pieces can be viewed through from the surface side of a transparent plate or a semi-transparent plate.
