Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a simple construction and to enable the size reduction, simplification and cost reduction of a copying machine, by using an electric connecting member serving also as a locking member of an electrostatic charging device. CONSTITUTION:A projecting terminal 4 of a power source is provided in a terminal housing 1 embedded and fixed to a machine frame C. A leaf springlike electrical connecting terminal 5 which is fixed in the housing 1 and grasps the terminal 4 from both sides, and a corona wire terminal 6 which extends a core wire 3 and fixes the same are provided in said housing. A connecting member is thus constituted of the terminal 4, the terminal 5 and the terminal 6. The terminal 5 is connected to the terminal 4 when the terminal 4 is grasped under pressure, and is connected to the terminal 6 when it is fixed by the terminal 6. The conduction to the corona wire 3 from the power source is accomplished.

じた折、或は一定期間毎にコロナ装置のクリーニングが
行われる。 クリーニングに際しては、コロナ装置は一ローその着座
位置から取外され、注意深くクリーニングされた後掲び
所定の着座位置に戻される。 前記着座位置からのコロナ装置の装脱には典型的には像
担持体の回転軸に平行に且つ像担持体表面に近接して挿
入、抽出される挿入方式と、像担持体の回転軸を含む平
面に沿って該回転軸に1u角に添置、引離す添置方式が
あるが、コロナ装置が長大である場合には、挿入、抽出
時のコロナ装置に加はる曲げなどの破壊力による損傷の
回避及びコロナ装置による像担持体面の突傷、引掻傷発
