Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A muffler characterized in that a protruding discharge port is provided at the bottom of the muffler main body, and an opening/closing cap made of shape memory metal or bimetal that opens and closes in response to temperature changes is provided therein.

(2) The silencer according to claim 1, wherein the opening/closing cap is made of shape memory metal and has one end fixed to the bottom of the silencer body.

(3) The silencer according to claim 1, wherein the opening/closing cap is a bimetallic opening/closing cap whose both ends are fixed to the bottom surface of the silencer body.

(4) The silencer according to claim 1, wherein the opening/closing cap is made of shape memory metal and has one end fixed to the bottom of the silencer main body and a column provided at the other end.
