In order to remove these major stains that are attached to the external surface of the car body, depending on the type of dirt, use an acidic cleaning agent that uses oxalic acid as the main ingredient and a surfactant as an auxiliary agent, or a neutral salt as the main agent. Spray an alkaline detergent aqueous solution containing a surfactant evenly onto the dirty surface, wait for a chemical and physical reaction, and then apply friction with a rotating brush to easily remove dirt. The most appropriate method was to spray clean water when the dirt was released from the interface and use a rotating brush to wash away the dirt along with the clean water.

In addition, there is a strong demand for the use of car body cleaning agent application devices on curved track sections, and with conventional fog removing devices with built-in spray pipes, the gap due to deviation of the side of the cleaning vehicle row becomes large, causing the sprayed cleaning agent to scatter into the outside air. Not only that, but also the cleaning agent cannot be evenly applied to the surface of the car body to be cleaned.

However, with this previously proposed method of applying chemicals using a sponge roll, the outer peripheral surface of the sponge roll cannot cope with the finely uneven surfaces on the outside of the car body, so it is difficult to apply the chemicals to concave areas such as inside the window frame of the car body. The drawback is that dirt remains in the recess.

However, if this rotating brush is rotated at the same high speed as in the past, there is a problem that the chemical solution will scatter, and if it is rotated at a low speed that does not cause the chemical solution to scatter, the brush fibers are soft and quite long. There is a problem in that this drips down from a certain point, making it impossible to apply the chemical solution.

According to the present invention, the long fibers of the rotating brush are supported by the short fibers so that they do not sag during low speed rotation, the necessary amount of the cleaning agent aqueous solution is supplied to the rotating brush, and the deviation of the vehicle is prevented. By providing sufficient followability and eliminating gaps, and by rotating at a low speed, the detergent aqueous solution is prevented from scattering outside, and the detergent aqueous solution does not enter the ventilation holes on the side of the car body, cleaning the surface evenly. The cleaning power is improved by applying a cleaning agent and adding some friction to the interface.

In addition, using vinyl chloride fiber with a diameter of 0.3 mm as the wire,
Using a prototype brush in which a wire bundle was fixed in a channel 6 with a diameter of 10 mm, we experimentally determined the dimensions at which the fibers could maintain their shape, that is, the dimensions at which they would not droop even when the brush was stopped. It has been found that a brush in which strands are flocked at a density of o, sy per rice, with a-100 strands and c=70 strands is suitable for practical use.

As described above, according to the cleaning agent application method according to the present invention,
First, the cleaning agent liquid is sprayed onto the brush surface of the low-speed rotating brush, and the brush surface of the rotating brush that has been sprayed with this cleaning agent is brought into contact with the side surface of the vehicle body, thereby indirectly applying the cleaning agent liquid to the side surface of the vehicle body. This eliminates the possibility of the cleaning agent liquid splashing out from the opening on the side of the car body and chemically deteriorating various parts inside the car, as was the case in the past. The brushes follow the finely uneven surfaces of the car body, such as window frames, so there is no unapplying of the cleaning liquid. Also, even when the applicator is installed on a curved track, the rotating brush sufficiently follows the deviation of the car body, making it effective. This has the effect of being able to apply a cleaning agent to the surface.

Further, according to the above-mentioned vertical rotating brush for applying a cleaning agent liquid according to the present invention, the cleaning agent liquid is applied by low speed rotation while the soft long fibers are supported by the short fibers from below. During application work using low-speed rotation without scattering, the tips of the long fibers do not hang down, allowing effective application work, and since the long fibers for application can be made sufficiently soft, there is no damage to the car body during application work. It has the effect that there is no risk of causing damage.

A rotating brush for applying a cleaning agent, in which the cleaning agent aqueous solution is sprayed onto the brush surface at a speed lower than the rotational speed of the cleaning agent rotating brush, and at a speed low enough to prevent the cleaning agent aqueous solution from scattering from the outer periphery of the brush due to centrifugal force. A car body cleaning characterized in that the cleaning agent aqueous solution is applied to the side surface of the vehicle body while rubbing the brush surface of the rotating brush for applying the cleaning agent on the side surface of the vehicle body, which is rotated and the aqueous solution of the cleaning agent is sprayed onto the brush surface.
