Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid looseness under a slightly open condition of a door glass, by forming a looseness preventing lip for retaining the door glass on both of an inside and an outside of a compartment integrally with a glass run rubber. CONSTITUTION:Lips 11a and 11b for preventing looseness of a door glass 25 are mounted on a side bar portion opposed to a side bar member serving as a guide of a glass run. Nylon hair is planted on door glass retaining surfaces 14a and 14b of the lips 11a and 11b. By the provision of the lips, even when the door glass is slightly opened and separated from a glass seal lip 8, it is retained by the lips, thus preventing looseness of the door glass.

従来グラスランラバーとしては、各部にわたり第5図に
示すような断面形状を有するものが知られている。しか
しこの種のグラスランラバーでは、ドアガラスが完全に
閉まっているとき(第6図)にのみドアガラスのガタッ
キを防止しうるにすぎない。すなわち、ドアガラスを少
し開いた状態(第7図)にしたときには、ドアガラスの
上下の摺動全案内するガイドとドアウェスト部のインナ
ーシールアウターシール(図示せず)とでしかドアガラ
スを保持していないので走行時ドアガラスがガタッキ、
異音を発する。

ガイドとなっている。なおガイドはRRドアでは後側で
あり、FFドアでも後側である。本発明ではガイドとな
る側辺部3と向いあった側辺部4の上辺部2近傍にガタ
ッキ防止リップ11が形成されている。第4図に示すよ
うにガタッキ防止リップ11は2つのリップ11a、1
1bからなりそれぞれの保持面14を対向させて、本体
7の側壁12上に、ドアガラスを車室内及び車室外より
保持するように形成されている。ガタッキ防止リップ1
1の本体7への形成は瞬間接着剤による接着又は一体成
形等により行う。1だ保持面は黒色ナイロン植毛により
形成されている。なお本体7は、ガラス溝9と、閉じた
ときにドアガラス25を保持するガラスシールリップ8
及びドアサツシを低層するサツシsi oi有しており
この部分は従来のウェザ−ストリップと変わりはない。
