These sequence operations are repeated, and these sequence controls are performed by purely mechanical cams, levers, links,
It may be performed by a combination of gears, etc., or each reciprocating movement may be performed by a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder device, and the solenoid valve that controls this movement may be operated by an electric or electronic sequencer control device. However, there is no difference in the present invention even if a solenoid or a linear motor is used for reciprocating motion and these sequence operations are performed by an electromagnetic or electronic sequencer.

In the method of this invention configured as described above,
When wrapping the tape around the object A and welding it, the base side of the tape should be in a flat state without being bent at all (in the illustrated example, it is on a vertical plane), and only the tip of the tape should be bent at right angles. A
Since the adhesive is applied to both ends of the tape and welded them together at the ridgeline, not only is the adhesive strength strong even if it is temporarily sealed, but the repulsion force against bending of the tape is strong immediately after adhesion. When welded in the above shape, the welded portion 37 acts mostly in the shearing direction, so it will not peel off or the tension bundle will loosen even before the adhesive force is fully exerted.

Next, around the time of this welding, the tape 15 that extends from the welded part to the supply side is cut longer than the extra end 38 on the tip side that protrudes from the welded part, and both of these are cut so that the longer extra end 39 Since we adopted a method of laying down the tape along the outside of the cut tape (banding), which has already become a loop, and applying heat and pressure from the outside, the adhesive on the inside of both ends is wide. In addition to being firmly welded in area, the tip 39a of the longer extra end 39 is directly welded to the outer surface of the band, so there is no fear that the remaining ends 38 and 39 will stand up together, and a good-looking band A2 is formed. be done.

In addition, in the device invention which is the second invention, the above-mentioned method can be carried out, and in particular, in order to have the above-mentioned configuration, the tape 15 is wrapped around the wrapping material A without loosening, and one corner of the tape 15 is wrapped around the covering material A without loosening. The tape 15 can be accurately welded by the heat sealer 23 and the sealer receiver/tape holding member 24, and the tape 15 can be cut by adjusting the position of the groove 14 and the tape reel support device 16, and
Due to the positional relationship of the cutter 18, the extra edge 39 cut by the cutter 18 is always formed longer than the other extra edges 38, and the finishing heat sealer 40 in the band sealing finishing station 34 separates these two extra edges. When the ends 38 and 39 are folded down, the remaining end 39 is folded to the outside and heated and pressurized, thereby cutting the tip 39a of the remaining end 39 and cutting off the tape that has already formed a loop. That is, it can be welded to the outside of the band. Further, the leading end of the cut tape 15 connected to the tape reel is reliably attracted to a vacuum suction hole 20 provided adjacent to the part from which the cutter 18 protrudes, thereby ensuring the next strapping operation.
