Cement products such as slate tiles contain a large amount of water to harden by hydrating them with water, and are porous, so gas is occluded in the pores. It is. Therefore, when a powder coating is applied to a slate tile and baked, the moisture or gas contained in the tile tends to evaporate from under the coating film, causing the coating film to evaporate. foams significantly and becomes unusable.

In view of the existence of such defects, the inventors of the present invention have conducted intensive research and found that after preheating slate tiles to 130 to 250°C, a thermosetting powder coating is applied, and the coating film is sufficiently cured. 500 ml before gelling, preferably before gelling.
If the slate roof tiles are kept under reduced pressure below the RHg, almost no foaming will be observed in the coating film obtained by such extremely short treatment, and the foaming problem of the slate tiles will be significantly improved. By discovering this, we have arrived at the present invention.

To explain the method of the present invention in detail, the slate tiles are first
The tile is preheated to 0 to 250°C, and then a thermosetting powder coating is applied to the tile.

In addition, the preheating temperature is preferably 130°C or higher, particularly preferably 150°C or higher, from the viewpoint of powder coating efficiency or coating film smoothness, and on the other hand, 250°C or lower, particularly 200°C or lower, from the viewpoint of deterioration of the powder coating. is preferred. Next, after applying the powder coating, the coating is treated under reduced pressure of 5007 RmHg or less for 30 minutes before the coating film is cured.

At that time, it may be kept warm only, but it may also be heated to a temperature in the range of 130 to 250°C. If the coating film is held under reduced pressure after it has hardened, the foaming caused by the reduced pressure will remain and have the opposite effect, so this must be avoided. Decompression degree is 5
Although the effect of the method of the present invention is recognized as long as the temperature is 00 mmHg or less, it is particularly preferable that the temperature is 0 mmHg or less.

減圧処理時間は前述した通り1〜30分が適当であるが

As mentioned above, the appropriate time for the depressurization treatment is 1 to 30 minutes, but preferably 2 to 5 minutes.

After such a reduced pressure treatment, it is sufficient to simply return the pressure to normal pressure and keep it warm, but it is also recommended to further heat it to ensure complete curing.

次に、実施例により本発明を具体的に説明する。Next, the present invention will be specifically explained with reference to Examples.

Next, this tile was coated with "Deitsku Powder A" (acrylic powder paint manufactured by Dainippon Ink & Chemicals Co., Ltd.*: 170℃)
gel time: 10 minutes) to a film thickness of 120
Apply it to a micron size and immediately put it in a vacuum heating dryer for 50 minutes.
After the pressure was reduced to nHg and the ambient temperature was maintained at 230° C. for 3 minutes, the pressure was returned to normal pressure and the atmosphere was maintained at 230° C. for an additional 10 minutes.

*Measured as the time until the melt viscosity starts to rise rapidly, according to Prabender. Comparative Example The same operation as in Example was repeated, except that the film was held at 230°C for 13 minutes without any vacuum treatment. The resulting coating film was noticeably foamed and could no longer be put to practical use. It wasn't something.
