Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a compact generator set by a method wherein a control apparatus cabinet and a reactor cabinet are constituted separately and the inside surfaces of said cabinets and the upper side outer peripheral surface of a generator are utilized as guide members for cooling air. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 is coupled with a generator 2 and a cooling fan 3 at its both ends respectively. The cooling air W fed from the cooling fan 3 passes through a cylinder head part 1a and, after that, through a circulating space 9 flows in the inside surfaces 6a and 7a of the control apparatus cabinet 6 and the reactor cabinet 7 and above the generator 2 so as to prevent the cooling air W from being scattered sideways and lost. The compact generator set can be realized and at the same time a cooling effect to a reactor can be improved.

冷却風のガイド部材として利用し7冷却風の散逸を抑制
することによ抄リアクトルに対する冷却効果の向上を図
るようにした内燃機関駆動式発電機装置を提供すること
を目的としてなされたものであって、エンジンと発電機
を同軸状に連結して該エンジンによって前記発電機を駆
動する如くする一方、前記エンジンの反発電機側に冷却
ファンを取りつけて該冷却ファンによって発生せしめら
れる冷却風を前記エンジンのシリンダヘッド部を通って
前記発電機の上方部に向けて流通せしめ得る如くシ、さ
らに前記発電機の上方部に、発電機制御用機器を収容し
た制御機器収容箱と前記発電機のりアクドルを収容した
りアクドル収容箱を、該制御機器収容箱の一側面と該リ
アクトル収容箱の一側面を前紀元を機の上方部に形成さ
れる前記冷却風の流通空間を介して対向せしめる如く配
置したことを特徴とするものである。

ンジンlの燃料タンク、乙は発電機制御用機器を収容し
た略矩形ffJi面を有する制御機器収容箱、7は発電
機2のリアクトルを収容した略り字形断面を有するリア
クトル収容箱であり、これら各機器は可搬型の7レーム

て作用し、該冷却風Wが側方に散逸するのを防止する如
