孔を開設すると共に、位置決め孔を開設する一方、ピボ
ットの基部周縁には前記ピボット取付パネルに当接する
フランジを設け、このフランジには上記位置決め孔に対
応して位置決めボスを突設し、上記ピボット挿通孔にピ
ボットを挿通させ且つ位置決め孔に位置決めボスを嵌合
させて、ピボット取付パネルにピボットを固定するよう
にした車両用ワイパ装置のピボット取付構造において、
上記位置決めボスの基部に切込溝を形成して前記位置決
めボスに大径部と小径部とを設けると共に、上記位置決
め孔には、上記大径部が嵌合する大径孔部とこの大径孔
部に隣接し且つ上記小径部が嵌合する小径孔部とを設け
、上記ピボット挿通孔にピボットを挿通させて大径孔部
に位置決めボスを嵌合させ、ピボット取付パネルに対し
てピボットを相対移動させることにより小径孔部に小−
径部を係合させるようにしたことを特徴とする車両用ワ
