In a rotation detection device having a magnet on the rotating body side, the sensor is arranged opposite to the rotating body and detects the rotation of the rotating body by sensing a change in magnetic flux due to the displacement of the magnet, and the rotating body has a screw hole. Tighten and tighten the bolt into the screw hole, place and fix a magnet on the upper end of the bolt head, and attach the sensor to the outer periphery of the rotating body via a plate or the like. The rotation detection device is equipped with a magnetically sensitive element that senses the magnetic flux of the magnet and changes its state, and detects a change in the state of the magnetically sensitive element and outputs it as an electrical signal from the sensor.
