ル2に高周波電流を流すと、ローラ本体1に流れる電流
分布は、第2図の電流分布曲線Bに示すように両端部は
中央部に比べて小さくなる。さらに両端部は中央部に比
べて放熱が太きいため、温度分布は第2図の温度分布曲
線Cで示すように、電流分布よりも一層差が大きくなる
。このように、ローラ本体1の温度差が両端部と中央部
間で大きくなるため、加熱効率が悪いという問題を有し
ていた。

の放熱分布は、時間とともに変化するが、両端部は中央
部よりも放熱が大きく、第5図に示すような放熱分布曲
線Gが得られる。したがって、ローラ本体4の表面温度
分布は、上記発熱分布曲線Fから上記放熱分布曲線Gを
差し引いたものとして得られ、すなわち第5図に示すよ
うなローラ本体全体にほぼ均一化した温度分布曲線Hが
得られる。こうして、ローラ本体4に略均−な温度分布
が得られる結果、加熱効率の向上を図ることができる。
