Thereafter, the deflection coil 2 is oscillated vertically and horizontally with respect to the cathode ray tube axis 5 to best match the convergence characteristics on the cathode ray tube screen, and in this position, the deflection coil 2 is oscillated in the gap between the front end of the deflection coil and the funnel curved surface 7. The wedge 6 is inserted from three directions and held fixed.

However, in the conventional deflection coil holding wedge, as shown in FIG. A pressure-sensitive adhesive or adhesive tape, etc. that instantly adheres or adheres to the lower surface 11 of the tongue piece 10 provided at the end is interposed, and after the convergence characteristics are optimally matched by the above method, the gap between the funnel part and the deflection coil is Before the deflection coil 2 is inserted into the funnel and the deflection coil 2 is completely fixed, the adhesive or the like may come into contact with the funnel curved surface 7 and become tightly fixed.

For this reason, the deflection coil 2 that is unstably fixed in this way
After the screen is adjusted, vibrations and shocks that the television receiver receives often cause the CRT funnel to move or rotate from the best mounting position, resulting in deterioration of convergence characteristics and damage to the television receiver. It had seriously degraded the dignity of the people.

The deflection coil holding wedge is made by applying an adhesive such as TV silicone, which hardens over time, to the lower surface 11 of the tongue piece as an inclusion, so that when the adhesive is not cured, the wedge is attached to the deflection coil above the funnel curved surface 7. There was a drawback that the deflection coil/I/2 moved and rotated in the same manner as described above.

Therefore, the deflection coil 2 and the funnel curved surface 7 of the cathode ray tube
By inserting the mock body 8 into the gap and applying pressure downward from the upper surface 17 of the tongue piece 13 after fixing the deflection coil 2, the adhesive surface of the double-sided adhesive tape 14 can be brought into close contact with the funnel curved surface, which is different from the conventional method. This prevents the deflection coil 2 from coming into close contact with the curved surface of the funnel before it is fixed.
The model body 8 can be held extremely stably on the funnel curved surface 7.

As described above, the deflection coil holding wedge according to the present invention is a means for holding a deflection coil that makes predetermined adjustments in vertical and horizontal directions with respect to the cathode ray tube axis to achieve desired convergence characteristics on the cathode ray tube surface, and includes: The deflection coil is inserted into the gap between the front end of the deflection coil attached to the cathode ray tube of the television receiver and the funnel surface of the cathode ray tube, and fixes the deflection coil at a predetermined position on the funnel surface from the inside. A model body is formed to have a large diameter, and a model body is integrally formed at a rear end of the model body at a predetermined and appropriate angle above the lower surface of the model body that contacts the funnel surface so that the model body does not move. The tongue piece is provided on the funnel surface and is adhered to the funnel surface by applying pressure from above after the insertion of the model body is completed, using a pressure-sensitive adhesive or adhesive. The model body can be completely inserted into the gap between the front end of the deflection coil and the funnel surface without any adhesive or adhesive material coming into contact with the funnel surface, and therefore the deflection coil can be securely fixed. A tongue piece is provided integrally with the rear end of the main body at an appropriate angle, so after confirming the fixation of the deflection coil, pressure is applied from the top of the tongue piece to funnel the adhesive surface of the adhesive material, etc. Since it can be fixed closely to the surface, the model body will not move, and since the bottom surface of the model body and the tongue piece are both in contact with the funnel surface, it can be held against the funnel surface. The contact area as a wedge is large, which allows the deflection coil to be held extremely firmly, and the work of holding and attaching the deflection coil to be made much easier than before, thus improving work efficiency and reducing material costs. Furthermore, since the tongue piece is provided upward at a predetermined angle, the anti-insertion adhesive does not come into contact with the funnel surface in the gap, making it easy to work with.
