図である。 １・・・本体、Ｐ・・・像担持体（転写紙）、１８・・
・定着装置、１８ａ・・・定着ローラ（加熱ローラ）、
１８ｂ・・・定着ローラ（圧着ローラ）、２０・・・上
部ユニット、２１・・・下部ユニット。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 上部ユニットと下部ユニットに分離できる本体と、この
    本体内に互いに圧接する状態に収納され現像剤像を担持
    する像担持体をこれらの間に通過させることにより上記
    現像剤像を定着する定着ローラ対とを具備してなる画像
    形成装置において、上記上部ユニットの分離動作に連動
    して上記定着ローラ相互を離間できる構成としたことを
    特徴とする画像形成装置。
