In recent years, hair dryers have become higher in wattage, and as a result, power cords that can supply 10 amperes or more are now required. On the other hand, in conventional vinyl cords, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, the core wire A and the vinyl chloride B have flexibility against breakage due to bending, and in order to protect the core wire A, a paper sheet is placed around the core wire A. It has the form of three layers wrapped with C and simultaneously molded with vinyl chloride B, but if a break (P) occurs due to bending of the cord, sparks Q are generated inside the cord each time the cord is bent. However, there was a drawback that holes Q' were gradually made in the covering vinyl B by the sparks of the seventh step, and sparks were generated outside.

したがって、この発明の目的は、屈曲やねじれによって

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a power cord that can prevent disconnection sparks caused by bending or twisting from flying out.

この発明の第1の実施例を第1図ないし第4図に示す。A first embodiment of this invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 4.

That is, in this power cord, a sheet 3 is interposed between a core wire 1.times.1' and a vinyl insulation covering 2. This sheet 3 has a large number of grooves 4 formed on one surface of the Tetron film, and these grooves 4 are directed toward the core line side. This creates a large number of cavities H around the core wires l and 1' as shown in Figure 1.
is formed. How to make this cord is to use sheet 3 as core wire 1.
Wrap it around the outside and mold the vinyl chloride at the same time.

When a wire breakage (P') occurs due to bending of the cord, an electric spark generated due to the bending occurs in the cavity H portion. Furthermore, since electric sparks have the property of weakening when exposed to air, they are attenuated in the cavity H, and it is possible to prevent sparks from being generated outside the cord.

A second embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG. That is, in this power cord, a cylindrical vibro is passed through the center of the core wire 5.5', and a cavity H' is formed by the vibro. 7
is a paper sheet and 8 is a co-molded vinyl coating. In this case, the spark generated in the disconnected state pierces the vibro and emits sparks within the cavity H'. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the particles from flying out to the outside. Note that if the cylindrical vibro is provided with a groove, sparks are likely to be generated within the cavity H'.

As described above, the power cord of the present invention has a cavity formed around the core wire and inside the core wire, so any spark caused by breakage due to bending etc. is extinguished in the cavity, so it is safe and does not fly out to the outside. be.
