DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION When the present invention supplies a wire material to a spring manufacturing machine such as a coiling machine to form a coil spring, the material wire material such as wire is passed through a predetermined temperature range just before the bending process. By doing so, residual strain inside the material is removed, warm processing is easily possible, and time loss is eliminated in accordance with the processing speed, making it possible to perform continuous refining of the material efficiently. It is something.

Various types of springs, such as Koinori springs, which are wound by coiling machines, etc., have residual machining strain inside the material, and therefore, the material is usually removed after the forming process in order to remove such machining strain. Heat treatment is performed for tempering.

By the way, this kind of processing strain includes the residual strain caused by the drawing process to thin a thick wire to give it hardness as a spring, and the residual strain caused by the drawing process to form the desired spring shape by bending it. There are two types of residual strain caused by bending. In the latter case, it is said that almost no residual strain is observed, especially when the radius angle of the bend is 4 to 5 times the wire diameter or more. There is.

Therefore, in this case, heat treatment is sometimes performed before bending, and these wires are usually called oil-tempered wires, and heat treatment after bending is not required.

However, in this case, it is necessary to increase the hardness during heat treatment, and a special heat treatment method is adopted, resulting in a material that has high hardness but is easily broken.

Moreover, the heat treatment time is usually 3 to 5 minutes, and thick wires (for example, 3 to 5 urns) require 8 to 15 minutes or more, so it is difficult to supply the spring to a spring manufacturing machine while continuously heat treating it. Alternatively, it was extremely difficult in terms of the installation location and space of the heat treatment furnace.

In other words, it takes a considerable amount of time to apply heat to the material wire from the outside and completely heat it to 300 to 500 degrees Celsius to the center. On the other hand, the production speed of spring manufacturing machines is usually 30 to 80 meters per minute. For example, if you want to hold the material wire in the heat treatment furnace for at least 3 minutes to heat treat it to the above temperature, you will need a furnace with a length of 30 to 80 m. Therefore, it is practically impossible to implement.

In FIG. 1, a heat treatment device of the present invention is installed just before a coiling machine (automatic spring winding machine) 17, and a wire rod 7 unwound from a reel 10, which is called kneading, is passed through this heat treatment device and directly passed to the coiling machine 17. The state in which the coil springs are continuously being supplied and molded into coil springs is shown.

In the above configuration, when the wire rod 7 led out from the outlet 9 of the heating tank 1 is supplied to the coiling machine 17, the wire rod is intermittently fed by driving the wire feed rolls 18 and 19, so that the wire rod is sequentially pulled out from the heating tank 1. One coil spring is wound in each cycle.

However, in the heating tank 1, the wire rod 7 introduced from the inlet 8 is first immersed in the liquid 2 toward the heating rear winding roller 4, passes through the roller 4, and then passes between the wire rod 7 and the front roller 3. After being wrapped the required number of times, the wire exits the liquid from the front roller 3, passes through the front winding roller 5 on the liquid surface, and heads for the rear roller 6, so that the wire rod between the front and rear heating rollers 3 and 4 in the liquid By appropriately increasing or decreasing the number of windings in advance, the time during which the wire is immersed in the solution can be matched with the heat treatment time required for tempering, so that the wire rod is guided through the drying winding roller 5.6. By the time it is led out from the outlet 9, it has been heat-treated to the necessary and sufficient temperature and is dry, and the supply rate to the coiling machine 17 is completely consistent.

As described above, the present invention involves a method in which a wire introduced from the outside into a heating tank containing a liquid heated to an appropriate temperature is wound around a heating winding roller to a required length and immersed in the liquid.
It is made so that it can be drawn out from the liquid, sent out to the outside of the heating tank via a drying winding roller, and then supplied directly to spring manufacturing machines such as coiling machines, so it can be bent. Residual strain that occurs during wire drawing is effectively removed, and the processability is improved by performing warm processing through heat treatment.
Not only is the fatigue resistance of the material reduced, making it easier to obtain products with excellent spring properties, but the heat treatment takes a sufficient amount of time in the heating tank to match the operating capacity of the spring manufacturing machine. Since it is wrapped around a roller, there is no time loss, and the size and length of the heating tank can be as small as one meter, and furthermore, the material can be several tens of meters long. It can be kept at all times, but when setting materials in the heating tank or when the operation is stopped, the liquid in the heating tank can be drained into the reserve tank and used as needed. Since they can be replaced with each other as required, they are very convenient to handle, have a simple structure, are free from failure, and can be implemented at low cost.
