[Detailed description of the invention] The outer surface of pipes and other objects is coated and protected with a fibrous layer made of pulp, glass wool, ceramic wool, etc. for the purpose of preventing damage or heat insulation. It is made as a molded body that conforms to the shape of the utensil, and a hollow mold with a mold surface made of a porous wall is immersed in the slurry-like raw material of the fibrous material, and the inside is communicated with a suction source, and the suction action is applied. Therefore, by sucking the slurry liquid into the mold, fibers are formed into a layer of appropriate thickness on the outer surface of the mold, and then a hollow mold is taken out from the slurry raw material, and the formed fiber layer is taken out from the outside surface of the mold. A fiber molded article of the desired shape was obtained.

However, the concentration of the fibrous material in the slurry raw material is not necessarily uniform, and the suction action on the mold surface is not uniform throughout, so it is difficult to form a fibrous layer of uniform thickness on the outside surface of the mold. This is not possible, and it is unavoidable that some parts become layers of original paper, and therefore it is necessary to take measures such as straightening the outer surface of the molded product after papermaking.

In the present invention, the wall thickness of each part of the fiber molded article is made uniform, the surface thereof is made smooth and beautiful, and a more homogeneous fiber layer is obtained during the papermaking process. This will be explained with reference to the illustrated embodiment.

1 is a hollow mold with a mold surface 2 made of a porous wall, which is communicated with a suction source through a ventilation pipe 3 which also serves as an operating rod, and a fine wire mesh 4 is attached to the mold surface 2. Although the fibers sucked during papermaking were prevented from clogging the holes 5 of the porous wall 2, the wire mesh 4 is not necessarily required.

The slurry liquid is sucked through the small holes 5 of the mold surface 2.
Fibers are formed on the outer surface of the fiber and a fiber layer of an appropriate thickness is formed over time. When the layer reaches a predetermined thickness, the hollow mold 1 is pulled out of the slurry fiber raw material and the fiber layer is formed. It is removed from the mold surface 2 to obtain a molded product a.

In such a papermaking method, as mentioned above, the thickness of the fiber layer formed on the outer surface of the mold surface 2 may be uneven due to unevenness in the temperature and suction force of the fibrous material of the slurry liquid. It is inevitable that this will occur. The present invention eliminates such defects by simple means, and covers the mold surface 2 with a distance □ comparable to the thickness of the fiber layer to be formed between the hollow mold 1 and the mold surface 2. The outer mold 6 is detachably provided, a through hole 8 communicating with the interval 1 is provided in the outer mold 6, and at least one of the hollow mold 1 and the outer mold 6 is movable relative to the other. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the through holes 8 are slit-shaped long holes aligned in the vertical direction.
The through holes 8 may be long holes arranged in the horizontal direction as shown in FIG. 4A, or relatively large through holes may be scattered in an appropriate distribution as shown in FIG. 4B. Alternatively, the same effect can be obtained by constructing the outer mold 6 with a lattice-like wall.

Furthermore, although the illustrated example shows a case in which the outer mold 6 is manually moved relative to the hollow mold 1 using a grip ring 9 integrated therewith, the movement can also be performed by mechanical operation without manual operation, and The mold 6 may be held fixed and the hollow mold 1 may be moved relative to it, or both may be movable together. The relative movement between the hollow mold 1 and the outer mold 6 may be performed by rotational movement or linear movement, and the rotational movement may be continuous rotation in one direction or repeated rotation at an appropriate angle.

That is, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, long slit-shaped through holes 8 that are aligned in the vertical direction require rotational movement, and as shown in FIG. In the drawing, linear movement in the vertical direction is required, and if the through holes are arranged as shown in Figure 4B, there will be no problem with rotational movement or linear movement in the direction of the soil, and in some cases, rotational movement and linear movement can be combined. A combined spiral motion may also be employed.

Thus, in the present invention, the fiber layer a is formed on the mold surface 2 of the hollow mold 1 through the through holes 8 of the outer mold 6, and at this time, the fiber layer a is formed on the mold surface 2 of the hollow mold 1 or the outer mold 6.
Because one or both of these move relatively, the fibrous material sucked into the mold surface 2 through the through holes 8 is evenly distributed and formed on the mold surface 2, and therefore the thickness of each part of the paper-formed fiber layer a is The paper is made evenly and homogeneously, and at the final stage of paper making, the fiber layer a
Since the surface of the fiber layer a is rubbed with the inner surface of the outer mold 6, the protruding fibers are laid down on the layer surface, and the uneven portions are corrected by the rubbing, so that a fiber layer a with a smooth surface can be obtained.

The fiber layer a thus produced is drawn out of the slurry raw material, and the fiber layer a is taken out from the mold surface 2 to become a product immediately, and there is no need for shaping treatment after papermaking as in the conventional method.

It should be noted that the fiber molded product a is not limited to the cylindrical shape shown in FIG. 5, but can of course be formed into a semi-cylindrical shape shown in FIG. 6 or a conical shape shown in FIG. As shown in FIG.
A protrusion 1a is provided on the outer surface of the cross section along a line opposite to the diameter line of the cross section.
By providing 1a, two semi-cylindrical objects can be easily formed at the same time.
