Claims

A bearing, a discharge chamber defined and closed by a discharge cover provided on the bearing, a discharge port disposed in a portion of the bearing within the discharge chamber, and an airtight container provided within a rotating shaft. A rotary compressor comprising: a discharge passage constituted by an open passage and a communication port; and a flat plate provided on a rotor that faces the open end of the passage and constitutes an electric element.
