However, there were frequent accidents in which blind people using such canes would fall down the station stairs or fall from the platform onto the tracks.

This was due to the inability to continuously check the safety of the walking surface.

Therefore, in order to prevent the above-mentioned dangers, the present invention provides an extremely simple cane for blind people that allows continuous confirmation of the safety of the walking surface.

以下図面に基づいて本案の実施例につき説明する。Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings.

As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the blind person's cane (hereinafter referred to as a tree branch) of the present invention has two protrusions at the lower end of a cane-like cane body 1 that protrude in a direction different from the axial direction of the cane body 1. A support member 7 is attached.

The distance between the wheels is approximately equal to the distance 1 between the widthwise centers of the legs 9.10 (see FIG. 3) of the blind person 8 in the standing state or the distance 1' between the wheels of the blind person 8.

Further, the convex detection rod is made of a wire made of spring steel, and a coiled portion 11 is formed at the corner of the above-mentioned letter shape, and the rear end thereof is connected to the cane main body 1, and the detection rod 4 itself is made of a wire rod made of spring steel. It also serves as the support member 7.

At the same time, the height of the tree branch can be perceived by lifting the tip of the tree branch along the vertical surface of the curb and rolling the wheel 2.3.

Note that this also works in the same way at the falling part of the stairs, and the boundary between the station platform and the track can be accurately grasped.

Furthermore, in cases such as the edge of the platform, there is a possibility that due to the blind person's carelessness, the wheels 2 and 3 of the tree branches may come off the edge and at the same time several branches may deviate and fall onto the tracks.

However, as shown in FIG. 1, the runaway prevention member 6 is disposed immediately behind the wheels 2 and 3 in the main body 1 of the present invention, so that the member 6 is placed on the platform at the same time as the wheels 2 and 3 fall. It catches on the edge and prevents the cane from running away.

Although the tip of the member 6 is located slightly above the wheels 2.3, if the main body 1 is laid too horizontally, the member 6 will come into contact with the ground.

Therefore, the school body 1 is necessarily corrected to a fixed posture, and the school body 1 always maintains a constant posture.

Therefore, the distance between the wheels 2, 3 and the blind person can be kept constant, and the position of the obstacle can be immediately perceived.

Next, if there is a relatively small unevenness on a part of the walking surface, one of the wheels 2 and 3 will move up and down.
This is perceived through the handle of the cane.

Further, when a convex portion exists between the side wheels 2 and 3, the convex portion comes into contact with the convex surface detection rod 4 which also serves as an axle, and the presence of the convex portion can be sensed.

Further, the second embodiment shown in FIG. 3 allows the user to walk while holding the main body 1 on the dominant arm side in a natural posture, thereby reducing fatigue of the dominant arm.

Furthermore, since this embodiment has a coiled portion 11 between the wheels 2, 3 and the main body 1, when the wheels 2, 3 collide with other passersby or luggage, the wheels are elastically deformed.

That is, in the above case, the blind person's weight is applied to the cane, which causes the support member 7 to rotate or contract upward, and the escape prevention member 6 to come into contact with the ground.

そのため杖は停止立設し盲人を支えることができる。Therefore, the cane can be stopped and erected to support the blind person.

The cane of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and the escape prevention member 6 is formed behind the wheels 2.3 and protrudes downward at the tip of the main body. Even if the cane suddenly falls from the platform, the escape prevention member 6 will catch on the edge of the platform, preventing the cane from escaping and protecting the blind person.
