Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a telephone terminal device requiring no visual confirmation or manual operation by identifying a voice input, generating an address corresponding to voice input information, generating telephone number information in response to the said address from a memory and allowing dialing in response to the said information. CONSTITUTION:A voice input 1 at the telephone terminal device is converted into an electric signal via a microphone 2. An electric signal output of the microphone 2 is subjected to the required amplification via an amplifier 3 and inputted to a voice recognizing section 4. The voice recognizing section 4 identifies an input signal under the control of a control section 11 and generates address information. This address signal is fed to a memory 6 via an address bus 5, and the memory 6 outputs a code of a telephone number corresponding to the address information. A number converting section 8 receives an output of the memory 6 via a data bus 7, converts the output into an electric signal of the telephone number under the control of the control section 11 and outputs the result sequentially one by one digit. A transmission section 9 receives an electric signal of the number converting section 8, generates a dial pulse corresponding thereto and transmits the pulse to a transmission line 10.

のような欠点を解決する方法の一つとして、特定の符号

番号をダイヤルすることができるようにした短縮ダイヤ
ル方式も用いられているが、この場合においても、短縮
番号のキーを目視で確認し手動によってキーの操作を行
わなければならない。またこのような手動による操作は
、目視g二よるダイヤル、ボタン、キー等の確認を前提
として行うものであり、目の不自由な人によっては大き
な負担となる。

自動的にダイヤルすることができ、目視による確認や手
動による操作が不必要になって通話に必要な手続きが簡
略化されるだけでなく、操作ミスのおそれがない。この
ような効果は目の不自由な人にとって特に大きいもので
ある。
