は、「過塩素酸アンモン又はこれを主体表する加熱発煙
剤さ、加熱により煙霧化する病害虫駆除性物質とからな
る燻煙剤組成物を、加熱により軟化溶融する非金属性被
膜の群と洋紙及び和紙の群とに属するものを各群毎1種
以上組合せて作られた容器に充填し、密封した」ことに
ある。この公知の病害虫駆除性燻煙筒は、燻煙時に発生
するガスが燃焼残渣層を通過するこ乏なく最短距離を通
って直ちに大気中に放出さ21.るために駆除性物質の
熱分解に基づく不活性化が抑制さ眉1、しかも安価に提
供することができる長所を有するが、従来から問題視さ
石7ている化学的に不安定な液状の51駆除性物質を用
いる場合は、駆除性物質か短時日に発熱性組成物古反応
して変質することは勿論、発熱性組成物が湿状となり燃
焼性が著しく低下するため満足すべき燻煙剤を得ること
ができない。ここに本発明者らは、化学的に不安定でか
つ常温(10C〜50C)で液状の病害虫1駆除性物質
について、その効力を損なうこ吉なく、しかも実施容易
な方法で安価1こ得らイ]、るかとうかについて種々検
討を重ねた結果、次に述へる病害虫駆除性燻煙筒の製造
