[Detailed Description of the Invention] In a conventional two-tub washing machine, the laundry is first washed in the washing tub, then the laundry is transferred to the spin-drying basket for spin-drying, and then the laundry is transferred to the washing tub again. A common rinsing method was to rotate a pulsator while supplying water.

However, recently, a method has been proposed in which a structure is constructed so that water can be supplied into the dehydration basket during dehydration, and rinsing is performed while dehydration is being performed.

Furthermore, as an even more user-friendly method, a system has been proposed in which dehydration and rinsing is performed by automatically repeating the cycle of water supply, stirring, drainage, and water several times using a timer. Water is supplied immediately, and since the dehydration basket is still rotating due to inertia during this water supply, the supplied water is immediately sprinkled over the dehydration cap and out of the dehydration basket. The rinsing efficiency was unsatisfactory because the water was not effectively entering the dewatering basket.

Since the water supply nozzle 13 is made up of an elastic bellows, the pressure of the water flowing into the water supply nozzle 13 causes the friction plate 20 fixed to the lower surface of the water supply nozzle 13 to expand as shown in FIG. The movement of the dewatering basket 6 is restricted by coming into contact with the outer periphery flange 19 of the upper end opening of the dehydrating basket 6.

Therefore, all of the supplied water passes through the laundry in the spin-drying basket 6, so the rinsing efficiency is significantly improved.

As described above, according to the present invention, a telescopic ring-shaped water supply nozzle is provided above the dehydration basket, and the lower surface of the water supply nozzle is brought into contact with the outer periphery flange of the upper end opening of the dehydration basket when water is supplied. Because of this, the water sprayed from the water supply nozzle can be reliably supplied into the dehydration basket.
As a result, all of the supplied water passes through the laundry in the spin-drying basket, making it possible to significantly improve rinsing efficiency.
