Abstract

PURPOSE:To erect securely a mechanical fixing means such as a clip, etc. in the installing surface of a plastic molding by such an arrangement wherein a recessed portion is drilled in the installing surface of the mold and the head of a clip, etc. is inserted into the recessed portion and molten plastic is pressure injected into the gap between said recess and said head and it is caused to solidify. CONSTITUTION:A recessed portion 2 is drilled in the installing surface 5 of a plastic molding 1. Next, the head 6 of a mechanical fixing means such as a clip 3 etc. is fittingly inserted into said recess 2. After that, the molding 1 is installed in metal molds 10,11 wherein a passage 9 for molten resin is provided, and molten resin is pressure injected into the gap 12 between the recess 2 and the head 6 of the clip through the passage 9 and it is caused to solidify. At this time molten resin pressure injected into the gap 12 enters the circular recess 8 of said clip head 6 and at the same time it adheres to the inner wall of the recess 2 of the molding.
