14の加圧支点16とブレードエツジ14α迄の長さR
は、第2図のクリーニング時より僅か短くなっているの
で、ブレード解除前のブレードエッジ14α位置に留ま
っている感光体1上のトナー17の中にブレードエツジ
14αが接触し、そのま\加圧されるので上方の僅なト
ナー17αが拭き残されて下流へ搬送される。このトナ
ーはクリーニング前除電チャージャ12により■帯電さ
れており、シール部材4はテフロン系で○極性を持って
いるのでトナー17αはシール部U手に付着する。付着
したトナー17aは、網点や適当粗さのキャタピラ像の
潜像パターンが来るとその地肌部(低電位部)に逆現像
され、トナー17(Zは■に帯電されているので現像部
6でスキャベンジされずそのま\残り、コピーに汚れと
なって表われる。この現象はブレードON、OFF后の
