正片5を使用することによつて、両被溶接材料1,2の
それぞれの突合わせ端面は更にフラツトな塑性修正がな
されることはいうまでもない。この場合、修正片5に対
しては、被溶接材料1,2を同時に移動させてもよいし
、また交互に移動させてもよい。また、一方の被溶接材
料2を保持する可動クランプ4の加圧力Pは、溶接機の
ライン機構はもちろん、他の付属装置を用いてもよいこ
とはいうまでもない。この発明の火花突合わせ溶接法に
よれば、上述したように、所定電圧を印加する溶接開始
前に、被溶接材料を所定圧力で互いに突合わせ、不規則
な形状の端面を平坦状に塑性修正するようにしたので、
