Abstract

PURPOSE:To display a high quality picture by electrostatic recording and also to obtain easily a hard copy by forming an electrostatic latent image inverting left and right on the inside of a transparent dielectric sheet to develop. CONSTITUTION:As for an electrostatic latent image C inverting left and right formed on the inside of a transparent dielectric sheet 11 by a write electrode 4, a toner is made to adhere onto it by a developing device 5 to obtain a toner visible image D. In this case, the image D is an inverted image when it is seen from the inside, but when it is seen from a display part 8, namely, the direction as indicated with an arrow of a thick line, the image D is seen from the rear side through the sheet 11 to obtain a display picture of an erect image. When the hard copy of the display picture is required, paper 9 is loaded on the inside of the sheet 11, and the image D is transferred to the paper 9 by a transfer device 10. This transfer image is obtained as a normal image.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a display device with a printer that is capable of high-resolution display and that can easily output a hard copy of the display screen.

Conventionally, as this type of display device, one shown in FIG. 1 has been proposed. That is, in FIG. 1, a dielectric sheet 1 is stretched endlessly between drums 2 and 3, and moves in the direction of the arrow. 4 is a writing electrode such as an electrostatic bottle,

As shown in FIG. 4, since the toner visible image is converted into a reversed image, the transferred image D' on the recording paper 9 becomes a normally rotated image, and normal recording can be obtained. If a hard copy of the display screen is not required, it is not transferred, and after the visible toner image is scraped off by the cleaner 6, the static electricity is removed by the static eliminator T.

As explained above, the present invention uses a transparent dielectric sheet and forms an electrostatic latent image with left and right sides reversed on the inside of the dielectric sheet.1-1 This is developed to form a toner visible image. When the image is transferred using a transfer device, a hard copy of the normally rotated image can be obtained. Claims (1)

[Claims] a transparent, endless dielectric sheet; a write electrode that forms an electrostatic latent image with left and right sides reversed on the inside of the dielectric sheet;
a developing device for supplying toner to the electrostatic latent image to obtain a toner visible image on the inner side of the dielectric sheet; and displaying the toner visible image as a normal image through the transparent dielectric sheet. 1. A display device with a printer, comprising a display section, a transfer device for transferring the visible toner image onto recording paper, and a cleaner for removing toner particles on the inside of the dielectric sheet.
