Abstract

PURPOSE:To display a high quality picture by electrostatic recording and also to obtain easily a hard copy by forming an electrostatic latent image inverting left and right on the inside of a transparent dielectric sheet to develop. CONSTITUTION:As for an electrostatic latent image C inverting left and right formed on the inside of a transparent dielectric sheet 11 by a write electrode 4, a toner is made to adhere onto it by a developing device 5 to obtain a toner visible image D. In this case, the image D is an inverted image when it is seen from the inside, but when it is seen from a display part 8, namely, the direction as indicated with an arrow of a thick line, the image D is seen from the rear side through the sheet 11 to obtain a display picture of an erect image. When the hard copy of the display picture is required, paper 9 is loaded on the inside of the sheet 11, and the image D is transferred to the paper 9 by a transfer device 10. This transfer image is obtained as a normal image.

11の内側に装てんし、転写器10によりトナー可視像
りを記録用紙9に転写する。

の発明によれば、静電記録により高品質画像の表示が可
能であるばかりでなく、その表示画面を容易にハードコ
ピー出力でき、プリンタとしても兼用できる。
