Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit accurately a call from a slave set to a master set even if a CPU is failed by providing separately a CPU failure detecting circuit and transmitting a call to a call tone generating circuit with priority to attain calling when the call is given from the slave set while this failure detection circuit is actuated. CONSTITUTION:When the CPU6 is normal, a display device Lc1 and a speaker SP are driven. When the CPU6 is failed, since a CPU normal signal which is transmitted from the CPU6 normally for each prescribed time is not transmitted to the CPU failure detecting circuit 10, the CPU failure detecting circuit 10 detects it and becomes operative. Thus, when a call switch 11 is operated and a call detecting circuit 31 is actuated, an output of an OR gate 1B and an output of the CPU failure detecting circuit 10 are applied to a call tone generating circuit 8 through an AND gate 1A to operate the call tone generating circuit 8 thereby outputting a call tone from the speaker SP.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional example, if CP[J6 malfunctions for some reason, the call from the slave unit B1 is sent to the base unit 13. There is a problem that it cannot be determined at all. In particular, if the hospital intercom does not transmit calls from the patient (handset) only to the guard l1llI (Koji1 machine side), this could become a serious problem that could affect the patient's life. This is extremely inconvenient for the intercom device introduced above (+E).

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the second embodiment, the present invention includes a circuit for detecting an abnormality in the microprocessor on the base unit side, and a circuit connected to the output of this detection circuit and each slave unit to detect a call. The output of the circuit is used to activate the antenna, and the output is used to drive a separately provided ringing tone generation circuit, so that even if the microbrosenoza malfunctions, it can detect a call from the handset. Therefore, according to the present invention, even if the microprocessor is abnormal, it is possible to recognize a call from a slave unit, and the present invention is particularly effective as a hospital intercom. and,
According to the present invention, the abnormality detection circuit, the amplifier circuit, etc. can be constructed by simply adding 11 inputs, and the construction as a whole is simple and extremely advantageous in practice.

The output of the call detection circuit that detects a call from the slave unit is applied to the base unit equipped with a microprocessor, and the micro processor detects whether there is a call from the slave unit or not.
Knowing this, the device is configured to light up the display corresponding to the machine in which the F-11'F output occurs, and an abnormality detection circuit is installed in the base unit to detect abnormal operation of the microprocessor described in 1-. When the output of this detection circuit and the output of the ringing detection circuit appear at the same time, a separately provided ringing sound generation circuit is activated, so that even when the microbrosenozer is abnormal, the ejection sound generation circuit can be operated. "Output": An intercom device configured to detect a call from a handset.
