This ON operation causes the light emitting element 6 to emit light, and this light is transmitted to the small holes 12 and 13. The light continues to be projected onto the light receiving element 7 through the tube 10 which is integrated with the chemical solution 11 and has an optically convex lens effect.

As the infusion progresses and the inside of the tube 10 reaches an empty state as shown in FIG. 3, the tube 10 loses its convex lens effect, and the light from the light emitting element 6 is repeatedly reflected and refracted by the tube 10, and is significantly attenuated. The light reaches the light receiving element 7.

On the other hand, if the tube 10 is accidentally detached from the holding part 3 during the infusion, the convex lens effect is lost, so the amount of light reaching the light receiving element 7 through the small holes 12 and 13, and even the amount of received light, will be reduced. When the temperature drops below a predetermined level, an alarm is activated to notify you.
