However, in cases where very high strength is not required, a loop made of synthetic resin with a non-circular cross section as disclosed in U.S. Pat. Furthermore, a binding device has been proposed in which a pair of small balls are provided at the end of the binding device to prevent twisting from returning, but this type of device has a unique shape and is difficult to manufacture. However, it could not be called an ideal binding tool because it was easily subject to restrictions on materials. However, in order to eliminate these drawbacks, the present invention provides a binding tool that has excellent strength and is easy to manufacture, and can be manufactured not only from synthetic resin but also from metal wire. The purpose is to

In FIG. 1, the binding tool according to the present invention has a gripping part 1 for gripping the articles to be bound, that is, so-called long objects such as rods, wires, etc., at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the articles. Therefore, the contour of the gripping portion 1 is not particularly suitable for being circular.

Further, according to the present invention, the cross-sectional shape does not necessarily have to be circular, but may be a flat ellipse, for example,
In short, it depends on the shape of the object to be grasped. Further, it is desirable that the ends of the gripping portions 1 face inwardly from each other in relation to the opposing curved portions described below. At both ends of the gripping part 1, opposing curved parts 2 which are to be twisted together are connected to each other in a symmetrical manner, and it is sufficient that the outer shape thereof is formed so as to be symmetrically intertwined with each other. As shown in this embodiment, it may be a simple arcuate shape back to back.

This can be easily understood from the state of the locking portion shown in FIG. Further, its cross-sectional shape is circular in relation to the annular portion described below. Next, at both ends of the opposing curved portion 2, there is an annular portion 3 provided symmetrically to each other on the outer side of the curve tangent C of this arcuate shape, and the inner side of the root of the broken portion 3, that is, the opposite The portion where the arcuate inner curve of the curved portion 2 and the outer circumferential line of the fractured portion 3 meet constitutes a locking region 4, and this portion constitutes the most important part of the present invention as will be described later. Furthermore, it is preferable that the cross-sectional shape of this annular portion is circular, or at least only its outer periphery has an arc-shaped cross-section. However, as is clear from FIG.
, M act, and as a result, a stress that makes the planes of the annular portions orthogonal to each other gradually acts, causing the locking region 4 to move smoothly around the axis of the opposing curved portion 2, and further increasing the locking force due to mutual entanglement. Occur. Therefore, in order to facilitate this smooth movement, it is preferable that the cross-sectional shapes of the opposing curved portion and the annular portion be circular or semicircular, and in terms of manufacturing, they should also be integrally connected. It is something.
This is clearly shown in FIG. 3, but in this example the whole is molded from a wire rod with a circular cross section, and A is the line taken along the broken line A-A shown in FIG. 1. The cross-sectional shape is shown. FIG. 4a shows an example of a conventional locking tool as described in the above-mentioned U.S. Pat. No. 3,543,353. etc. have a non-circular cross section. Further, FIG. 4b is a plan view of the locking part of this conventional example, and the second
As shown in the figure, it is in a locked state due to twisting. As mentioned above, in Fig. 4a, the gripping part is indicated by W, the opposing curved part is indicated by L, and the sphere is indicated by S. In Fig. 4b, the sphere S is twisted in the direction of arrow x and is twisted beyond the center. This means that one side is in spherical contact compared to the embodiment of the present invention.
The fundamental difference is that the other is an interlocking lock. Furthermore, this may cause the spheres S to separate from each other when a larger amount of the member than expected is inserted into the gripping portion, and a particularly large difference arises in this respect. Therefore, the implementation state of the binding device according to the present invention shown in FIG. 2 will be further explained with reference to FIG. ,2
Although not shown, the fractured portions connected thereto are facing in opposite directions and expanding towards the gripped member'. 1 is brought to the gripping part 1, and then the annular parts 3, 3 are pinched and twisted with fingers so as to intersect the opposing curved parts 2, 2. When the annular parts 3, 3 are twisted by their own anti-plastic deformation stress, It tries to move in the direction of arrows P and P due to the force.

When a force is further applied in the same direction, the relative contact center points K, K of each annular portion cross the positions on the vertical tie center lines L, L in mutually opposite directions, and the center points move into the locking areas 4, 4 and stop in the state shown in FIG. In other words, the annular portion is stopped in a state in which the lower side portion thereof is in contact with one portion of the locking regions 4, 4, which are the ends of the other curved portions 2, 2. What is noteworthy about this movement is that both the annular part and the opposing curved part have a circular cross section, and because of this, even if the annular parts are twisted together at slightly different levels, they move by point contact, which is extremely rare. It is locked by force. Also, it is natural that when they are twisted together at the same height, they will be locked even more smoothly. In addition, the locking area occupies the inner surface of the connection between the annular portion and the opposing curved end, and since these surfaces are each formed from a curved surface, the actual stopped state is on the lower side of the annular portion. The parts are pressed together by two-point contact in the locking area. Therefore, when the diameter of the member to be gripped is the same as or smaller than the diameter of the gripping portion 1, strong stress is not applied particularly to the opposing curved portions 2, 2 in the directions of the arrows M and M. In the state shown in the figure, the member is locked and gripped, and since the annular portions are pressed against each other by two-point contact at positions beyond the center, relatively strong locking is possible. However, the effect of the binding device according to the present invention becomes even more remarkable when it is applied to a member to be gripped whose diameter is larger than that of the gripping portion 1.

このような状態は特に第6図において示されており以下

When a gripped member H having a diameter larger than that of the gripping portion 1 is brought to the gripping portion 1, the opposing curved portions 2, 2 are pulled in the direction of the arrows M, M so that the locking regions 4, 4 are strongly intertwined with each other. It will be done.

This intertwined state is a more advanced locking state than the contact between the locking area and the lower side surface of the annular shape described above, and the ring-shaped portion 3 moves in the direction indicated by the arrows Y and Y at the same time as the relative angles formed by the respective planes gradually increase. The grasped members H are moved in the direction shown in FIG. At this time, the movement is carried out extremely smoothly since the locking areas 4, 4 are both formed of curved surfaces, and at the same time, the restoring force against the bending stress applied to the opposing curved parts 2, 2 is also smoothly achieved. Since the gripping elastic force can be adjusted accordingly, the gripping elastic force can also be stabilized. This intertwined state further develops into an interlocking state, and when compared with the conventional example described above, it shows incomparable durability.

On the other hand, in terms of manufacturing, the conventional one has a spherical body S and a curved part L.
Although a complicated mold is required to integrally mold the two, the embodiment described as an embodiment of the present invention can be molded extremely easily since the entire structure is formed on the same plane.
Further, although conventional materials cannot be considered to be made of anything other than synthetic resin, the material according to the present invention can be easily manufactured using metal wire.
