Conventional structure and its problems Conventionally, in this type of floor nozzle, the rotating brush was simply a rotor with bristles planted on the outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and the outermost diameter was quite large. It became. For this reason, the height of the floor nozzle inevitably becomes large, which becomes an obstacle when cleaning underneath furniture and the like. In order to solve this problem, it was considered to shorten the length of the brush bristles, but in this case, the elasticity of the bristles would not be as effective in scraping up the carpet surface, resulting in a decrease in cleaning performance1. It's gone.

Therefore, recently, a floor nozzle has been devised in which a groove 2 is formed in the longitudinal direction of the rotor 1 as shown in FIG. 1, and brush bristles 3 are planted at the bottom of the groove 2 to form a rotating brush 4. . With this, the outer diameter of the rotating brush 4 as a whole can be made small, and at the same time, the necessary length of the brush bristles can be ensured. However, this also has the problem that dust adheres to the groove 2 while the floor nozzle is in use. That is, in this type of floor nozzle, when the surface to be cleaned is a carpet or similar, the rotating plan 4 is rotated to scrape up and suck the dust, and when the surface to be cleaned is a tatami mat or a floor surface, the rotating plan 40 is rotated.
The rotation is stopped and cleaning is performed by suction. Therefore, the tatami mats and floor surfaces were sucked in while being cleaned. For example, some cement dust enters and adheres to the concave grooves 2 of the rotary plan 4, and even when the rotary brush 4 is rotated when cleaning a carpet, the adhered dirt remains in the grooves despite the generation of rotational speed centripetal force. A problem arose. The amount of adhesion will no longer increase once it reaches an equilibrium state, but as the weight balance of the rotating brush 4 is disrupted, a force generated by the unbalanced amount will act on the bearing of the directional rotating brush 4, shortening the life of the bearing. It was causing problems.

Structure of the Invention The present invention provides a rotary brush by forming grooves in the longitudinal direction of the rotor, planting brush bristles at the bottom of the grooves, and filling the grooves with a softening filler. The diameter of the rotating brush is reduced by the length of the brush bristles facing into the groove.
In addition, the effect of raking up the carpet surface due to the elasticity of the brush bristles is not impaired because it is filled with a soft filler, and it also prevents dust from adhering to the grooves.

In the above configuration, now slide the switching lever 36 to the right in FIG.

When the opening 37 of the shielding plate 36 is communicated with the other vent 34 via the groove switching lever 36, the suction air is transferred to the turbine 2.
9 flows through the turbine chamber 17 and reaches the suction joint 25, so the turbine 29 and rotation plan 20 do not rotate.

Note that during cleaning work, the floor nozzle 11 is connected to the suction joint 25.
Since the floor nozzle 11 can be raised and lowered freely, the suction port 16 of the floor nozzle 11 faces the surface to be cleaned, and dust can be sucked reliably despite the worker's awkward posture.

Now, as mentioned earlier, the rotating brush 2o is constructed by planting the brush bristles 44 at the bottom of the groove 42 of the rotor 43 and filling them with a softening filler 45. Of course, the bristles 44
The tip thereof protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the soft filler 46 and the rotor 43.

Therefore, the outer diameter of the rotary plan 20 can be made smaller by the amount that faces into the groove 42 of the brush bristles 44. In other words, in order to maintain the effect of scraping the carpet surface with the elasticity of the brush bristles (brushing effect), it is necessary to keep the amount of protrusion of the brush bristles 44 in the outer circumferential direction from the implanted part constant. According to the embodiment, since the filler 45 is soft, the filler 4
This is because the elasticity of the brush bristles 44 in the buried portions is less likely to be impaired by the brush bristles 44, and therefore, the same brushing effect as before can be obtained with the same amount of protrusion.

In addition, since the grooves 42 are filled with the softening filler 45, there is no phenomenon in which dust adheres to the grooves 42. Therefore, the weight balance of the rotating brush 2o is disrupted due to the attachment, and the life of the bearings 21, etc. will not become shorter.
