Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a massaging effect when using a shower and enhance convenience in use, by a method wherein the quantity of water is varied with time when using a hot water supplying device, and the variation of the quantity of water with time is indicated by an indicator. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 11 is heated by a heater 23, a water quantity controller 1 is connected in series with the water inlet side of the heat exchanger 11, and it is driven by a driving device 16. A signal-generating part 17 sends to the driving device 16 a signal for varying the quantity of water passed through the water quantity controller 1 with time. The indicator 20 indicates the variation in the quantity of water synchronously with the variation of the quantity of water at the controller 1. Accordingly, the quantity of water is varied from moment to moment when using the hot water supplying device, whereby a massaging effect can be obtained particularly when using the shower, the variation in the quantity of water with time is indicated by the indicator, thereby informing the user of the variation in the quantity of water, and convenience in use can be enhanced.
