Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous detection, by detecting plural pieces of necessary information in their suitable methods. CONSTITUTION:When a film is loaded and a start switch is operated, the 1st sensor 3 reads the number of frames which can be exposed and its information is stored in the memory 7. The 2nd sensor 4 reads the photographic speed of the film and its information is stored in the 2nd memory 8. After the storage of both pieces of information is completed, the film is exposed and a take-up mechanism operates to count the number of exposed frames by a counter 17. When all frames are exposed, the 2nd comparator 14 generates an output to stop winding. If the information on the number of frames is not read by the 1st sensor 3, a warning device 13 is operated at, for example, the 12th or 24th frame by the operation of a discriminating device 11 through the counter 17. Thus, plural pieces of information are read in their suitable methods and erroneous detection is prevented.

For example, in order to prevent photo shooting failures caused by forgetting to set the film sensitivity or setting it incorrectly, we recommend using the film itself or cartridge (in this specification, the word ``film itself'' is used to mean the film itself, and when simply referred to as ``film'') Various methods have been proposed in which a code indicating the sensitivity is assigned to the camera (including the cartridge), and the mechanism on the camera side reads the code and automatically sets it. They can be roughly divided into
There are two methods: one method is to provide a code on the film itself, and the other method is to provide a code on the cartridge side, and the information includes sensitivity, number of shots that can be taken, etc. However, they have advantages and disadvantages, and from the perspective of the camera mechanism that detects and reads information, for example, with one method, it is easy to read sensitivity information, but the accuracy of reading information on the number of shots that can be taken is poor. ,
In the other method, the situation is the opposite. As a result, the camera mechanism has to become large in order to read all of the information, or in order to avoid this, it is necessary to read only a portion of the information.

In order to solve this drawback, the present invention provides a method for adding necessary information to a film, which has been provided with information as a plurality of information groups using a plurality of different methods, using an adding method suitable for each detection method. The object is to obtain a device that reads information from a group separately using separate detection means.

FIG. 1 shows an example of a film used in a camera having a reading device according to the present invention, in which the film itself 1 is provided with a row of small holes 1b as one information group in addition to perforations 1a. This is a binary code that contains information about the sensitivity of the film itself and the number of shots that can be taken. On the other hand, an information code 2a is also provided on the outer surface of the cartridge 2 as another information group representing at least two types of information. This cord is connected to both ends 2c of the conductive portion 2b.

FIG. 2 is a block diagram including an embodiment of the present invention, in which a first sensor 3 comprising a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element reads the number of frames that can be photographed from a first information group given to the film itself 1; A second sensor 4 that reads sensitivity from a second group of information given to the cartridge 2, a first decoder 5, a second telephoto, a first memory 7, a second memory 8, an exposure control device 9 , shutter control device 10, discrimination device 11, first comparator 12, feeding device 13, second comparator 14, winding control device 15, pulse generator 16, counter 17, rewinding control device 1 day, Interlocking switch S, , S2, interlocking switch S3

The operation will be explained below with reference to FIG. When a film as shown in Fig. 1 is loaded into the camera and a start switch (not shown) is operated, the first sensor 3 reads the number of frames that can be taken. The information is code-converted by the decoder 5 and stored in the first memory 7. On the other hand, the second sensor 4 reads the sensitivity, and the information is also code-converted by the second decoder 6 and stored in the second memory 8. When storage of the image information is completed, the exposure amount is determined by the exposure control device 9 based on the sensitivity information, and the shutter control device 10 is operated accordingly. When the exposure is completed, the winding control device 15 operates to wind the film and charge the shutter. When the hoisting mechanism operates, the pulse generator 1
6 generates one pulse for each frame, and a counter 17 counts the number of photographed frames. Then, as the shooting progresses and the counted value of the counter 17 becomes equal to the stored value of the memory 7, that is, when the possible number of frames to be shot is exhausted, the second comparator 14 produces an output, which is placed at the position shown in FIG. A certain switch S.

When the rewind mode is set by a switching device (not shown), the switch S3+4+85 is switched from the state shown in FIG. 2, and at the same time, rewinding is started by activation of the rewind control device 18.

In this case as well, in conjunction with the rewinding control device 18, the pulse generator 16 generates one pulse each time one frame of rewinding is performed, and the counter 7 counts.

When the count value of the kneading counter 7 becomes equal to the value stored in the memory, that is, when the rewinding of all photographed frames is completed, the second comparator 14 generates an output, which is sent to the rewind control device via the switch 85. Acts on 18. The rewind control device 18 stops rewinding after rewinding two more frames from that point.

The above is a normal case, but if the first sensor 3 is unable to read the frame number information for some reason, the discrimination device 11 operates to switch S + l', l', o F
F, switch S2 is turned on. Then the shooting progressed,
For example, 12y! When the number reaches 24 frames, the count value of the counter 17 becomes equal to the comparison reference value 12 or 24 of the first comparator 12, so an output is generated and the warning device 13 is activated. In this way, the photographer is informed that the number of possible frames to be photographed has been exhausted.

In this embodiment, i+1, information 1 that is highly important such as film speed, etc., and the second information group given to the cartridge 2 that does not move in the loaded state are read reliably, and the second information group that is relatively less important is read. The number of frames to be photographed is read from the first information group given to the film itself 1, which is relatively prone to false detection, to further reduce the risk of trouble occurring in the camera's operation.

As described above, according to the present invention, when using information about a film given as a plurality of information groups by a plurality of methods, each element of the information is detected by a method suitable for reading it. Therefore, there is less risk of false positive detection.
