CONSTITUTION:When the leading end of the recording paper 4 fed from an inserting passage 7 by a paper-feeding roller 5 and a press roller 6 is detected by a sensor 13, the platen 2 against which the recording head 1 is pressed is rotated. Then, a multicolor ink film 3 is fed together with the recording paper 4, and monocolor recording is conducted on the paper 4.
