Generally, in large capacitors, long insulating insulators are used for the terminals, and when assembling the insulators, a part of the insulators is coated with metallicon and soldered to the terminal fittings and the capacitor case canopy.

The present invention takes these drawbacks into account and proposes a capacitor terminal that can be assembled easily and firmly without being directly soldered to the insulator or mechanically caulking.

以下本考案を図面に示す実施例に基づいて説明する。The present invention will be described below based on embodiments shown in the drawings.

After forming two annular grooves 1C in each groove 1b for easy removal of the gasket, and installing a gasket 2 into each groove 1C, a terminal fitting 3 or metal having an inner diameter slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the press-fit portions 1a and 1b is formed. It is formed by press-fitting a cylinder (ground) 4.

When the metal cylinder 4 is provided integrally with the capacitor case canopy 5, the insulator 1 has sufficient airtightness and assembly strength as shown in FIG.

Moreover, what is shown in FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram of the press-fitting of the press-fitting part 1b of the lower part of the insulator and the metal cylinder 4. To describe this operation specifically, the diameter of the press-fitting part 1b of the lower part of the insulator is dl, and the diameter of the metal cylinder 4 is dl. If the inner diameter of the insulator 1b is d2, then dl=d2+δ, and δ is a press-fitting allowance that varies depending on the size of the diameter d1 of the insulator press-fitted part 1b, but if dl” is about 50 mm, δ=0.
1 to 0.4 mm is appropriate, and at this time approximately 500 to 1.0
The insulator press-fit part 1b is pushed into the metal cylinder 4 with a press force of 00 kg, and is press-fitted while being gradually expanded.

In other words, it is a tight fit. In this way, the insulator 1 and the ground 4 or the terminal fitting 3 are firmly integrated, and the packing is effective in maintaining airtightness.

If the press-fitting allowance δ<0.1, the assembly strength of the insulator is weak, and δ
>0.4 not only puts an excessive load on the metal cylinder and the insulator, but also requires a large pressing force, which is not practical.

This also applies to the case of press-fitting the insulator upper part and the terminal fitting, and the above-mentioned press-fitting allowance is determined so as to meet the above-mentioned conditions.

Generally, a capacitor breaks down at an internal pressure of about 10 kg/c [[12], but according to the terminal of the capacitor according to the present invention, the airtightness and assembly strength of the insulator assembly part can be reduced to 20 kg/c.
- By achieving the above, it is possible to prevent accidents in which the insulator is torn off and damaged the surrounding area in the event of oil leakage or capacitor breakage. Moreover, the terminal assembly can be easily and securely carried out, and since the packing is made of two strips, it is possible to prevent the insulator from breaking and damaging the surrounding area. It has the advantage of preventing gasket deterioration and maintaining airtightness over a long period of time.
