In the automobile air conditioner, an air inflow port is formed at one end of the heater unit, a heater core is mounted in the heater unit near the inflow port, and a mixing chamber is provided at the other end of the heater unit. The heater core is tilted so that one side surface of the heater core on the upstream side of the inflow air from the inflow port is close to the casing of the heater unit, and the other side surface of the heater core is located on the center side of the heater unit. a first mix door installed in the heater unit to control the amount of air that flows in from the inlet and reaches the mixing chamber without passing through the heater core; and a second mix door for controlling the amount of air reaching the casing, each of which is attached to a shaft adjacent to the inner surface of the casing.
