Claims

A piping strainer comprising a Y-shaped casing comprising a short pipe section coaxially connected to the piping, a branch pipe section obliquely intersecting the short pipe section, and a cylindrical wire mesh attached to the inside of the branch pipe section. - a bottomless tube mounted adjacent to and inside an end of a branch pipe section spaced apart from the short pipe section of the casing in cooperation with a first support fitting provided inside the short pipe section; a second support fitting 4 for holding the shaped wire mesh inside the branch pipe;
a scale chamber 5 of a way valve installed at the end of the branch pipe section on an extension line of the branch pipe section and communicating with the inside of the wire mesh;
, and a drive shaft 7 and an arm member that are rotatably supported on the center line of the cylindrical wire mesh by the first and second support fittings and have a handle attached to the end that protrudes outside through the scale chamber.
