Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply match a frame receiver and a steel cover with the slope of a road by a method in which a regulating ring is made up of a lower ring and an upper ring, and the lower ring and the upper ring are inclined relatively to each other. CONSTITUTION:A slant wall 2 is stacked up on a body 1 to form the torso of a manhole, a regulating ring 3 and a frame receiver 4 are stacked up on the slant wall 2, and a steel cover 5 is detachably attached to the frame receiver 4. The regulating ring 3 consists of a lower ring 3a and an upper ring 3b both of which are slightly inclined relatively to each other. By relatively turning the rings 3a and 3b, the contact positions of the rings 3a and 3b are varied, the frame receiver 4 and the steel cover 5 stacked on the upper ring 3b are inclined, and therefore, the frame receiver 4 and the steel cover 5 can be simply matched with each other with respect to the road surface 6.

整方法であって、積重部材のすり合せ面に相対的にわず
か外傾斜面が存しているため、積重部材を回わしてすシ
合せ面の位置を変えるだけで、上面、即ち鉄蓋の面が傾
斜することにな9、路面の傾斜と簡単に面一にすること
ができるのである。

るのである。尚、すり合せ而をわずかの傾斜をもたせて
形成するととは、わずかで目視できない程度ではあるが
すシ合せ面が楕円状になシ、90°回転させた時に最大
の喰違いが生ずるけれども、この喰違いは各積重部材の
肉厚によつて5収できる程度のものである。
