紙装置において、給紙台にはスプリングを介して昇降ワ
イヤ等の引張部材を取付け、該昇降ワイヤ等の巻き取り
軸は連動機構を介してピニオンと連動し、該ピニオンは
前記給紙台を引き出す方向と平行に設けたラックと噛合
させることにより、前記給紙台を引き出したときには前
記ラックと噛合したピニオンの回転によって連動機構を
介して昇降ワイヤ巻き取り軸が回転することにより給紙
台が下に降り、給紙台を挿入したときは前記と逆に連動
機構が作動することにより給紙台が上昇するように構成
し、且つ用紙スタックの上面には常時用紙の上面を、給
紙ローラと連動した上面抑止部材により一定の位置に押
圧し、用紙送り出しの直前だけ前記上面抑止部材による
抑圧を解除するように構成したことを特徴とする複写機
