Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold and secure a contact spring without using resistance welding by providing a protrusion and a guide section that are made to adhere to a support frame in a contact spring and a permeation hole shared by the contact spring and the support frame and inserting spring-type fixing metallic parts. CONSTITUTION:A contact spring 10 is loaded on the flange section 6a of a support frame 6 and is held and secured with good adhesion by matching the permeation hole 6b of the flange section 6a and the permeation hole 10 of the contact spring base section 10b and inserting spring-type fixing metallic parts 11 from the direction of an arrow A. In this case, since the contact spring base section 10b has a protrusion 10d that is protruded at the flange section 6a surface side at both sides of the permeation hole 10c and the spring back tension due to the material itself of the contact spring 10 is actuated, the property of contact is improved and full adhesion can be maintained against vibration. In addition, the mounting with good workability is made possible by providing a guide section 10e.

This type of contact spring is generally formed by press-molding a thin stainless steel plate, the base is fixedly placed on the shadow mask 7 frame, and the spring part is elastically attached to an internal conductive film formed on the inner wall surface of the 7 channel. It has a function of applying a predetermined high voltage to the shadow mask by being placed in contact with it by force.

However, when fixing by resistance welding, welding splash often occurs, so detailed control of the welding conditions for holes to prevent splash generation, a splash collection plate, and a tin splash removal process have been added. In addition, in the splash removal process, if the splash is not completely removed and remains in the vacuum container, it may clog the shadow mask section 5 or cause a short circuit between the poles of the electron gun (not shown), making it inoperable. There was a problem.

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and its purpose is to hold and fix the contact spring without using resistance welding that generates splash, thereby completely eliminating the occurrence of characteristic defects. [Summary of the Invention] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a contact spring with a convex portion and a guide portion that improve adhesion with a support frame, and also provides a contact spring with a support frame. A common through hole is provided for both, and a spring-like fixing fitting is inserted through the common hole to hold and fix the contact spring.
