Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a guide plate high in working accuracy and rigidity easily and cheaply by cutting a guide plate material formed integrally by extruding aluminum material at specified intervals longitudinally. CONSTITUTION:A long material 10 for a guide plate having the same sectional form with that of a guide plate 1 fitted to the cross beam of a heddle frame is formed continuously in a body by extruding aluminum. A guide plate 11 is manufactured by cutting the material 10 at specified intervals longitudinally. Sheet materials 13 equal in length with the material 10 are stuck on both sides of the material 10 and the sheet plates 13 and the material 10 for guide plate are cut simultaneously. Thus, guide plates 11 provided with sheet materials 13 are manufactured successively.

Guide plates that are fitted onto the cross beams of heald frames were previously manufactured for water conservancy, but in recent years guide plates made of synthetic resin have become popular due to their durability, processing accuracy, cost, and mass production. It came to be used. However, in order to integrally mold the guide plate from synthetic resin, there are restrictions on mold production and die cutting, so if the guide plate was molded in half, it would take a lot of work.

Figure 1 is an end view showing a conventional guide plate made of synthetic resin molded in half, fitted and attached to a cross beam; 1 in the figure is a guide plate made of synthetic resin molded in half. Plate 2 indicates a mating surface thereof, and guide plate 1 is joined via screws (not shown) and is attached to cross beam 3 by force.

However, the conventional half-shaped guide plate 1 made of synthetic resin requires high precision in the molding of the mating surface 2, and not only is it time-consuming to join, but it is also prone to thermal deformation and seizing during operation, and does not last long. It has the disadvantage that it cannot be used stably for a long period of time. Furthermore, since the half-shaped guide plates 1 made of resin are molded individually, there are many drawbacks such as high processing costs and high mold costs.

The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional art, and involves manufacturing a guide plate by cutting a guide plate integrally formed by extruding aluminum material at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction. It is characterized by the fact that it is extremely easy to process and can be manufactured at low cost, and has high processing accuracy and rigidity.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing a guide plate for a heald frame that is less likely to be thermally deformed or seize during operation and can be used stably for a long period of time.

In the figure, reference numeral 0 denotes a long guide plate having the same cross-sectional shape as the end face shape of the guide plate 1 which is fitted and attached to the cross beam 3 of the heald frame, as shown in Fig. 1, and the guide plate 10 is made of aluminum. It is integrally and continuously molded by extrusion processing. 11 is the guide plate material 10 formed in this way
This is a guide plate manufactured by cutting at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction, and 12 indicates the cutting position.

Next, 13 is a sheet made of wood or various synthetic resins, 0
Guide plate material 10 having a thickness of about 2 to 1 mm and before being cut
As shown in the figure, it can be pasted on both sides of the guide plate 11 after cutting, or it can be pasted on both sides of the guide plate 11 after cutting to prevent metal-to-metal contact between the guide plate 11 and noise generation while the heald frame is in operation. However, when pasting the sheet material 13 on both sides of the guide plate 100 before cutting, the sheet material 13 having the same length as the length of the guide plate 10 is pasted on both sides of the guide plate 10. If the sheet material 13 and the guide plate material 10 are cut at the same time, the guide plate 11 with the sheet material 13 can be manufactured one after another, which is very convenient.

As shown in the figure, it is attached by fitting onto the cross beam 3, but it is needless to say that holes for screwing in screws or the like are separately machined in the skirt portion of the guide plate 11 depending on the attachment position.

Further, the cross-sectional shape of the guide plate side lO formed by extrusion processing of aluminum is not limited to the shape of the illustrated embodiment, but may correspond to the cross-sectional shape and dimensions of the cross beam 3 of the heald frame. The design can be changed arbitrarily.

As specifically explained below, the present invention involves extruding aluminum material into a long guide plate material having the same cross-sectional shape as the end face shape of the guide plate that is fitted and attached to the cross beam of the heald frame. (1) Continuous extrusion processing of aluminum material to form the guide plate. However, since it is only necessary to cut it, it is extremely easy to process, can be manufactured at low cost, and is easy to install.

(2) Since aluminum is extruded and molded, it is possible to reduce the wall thickness and weight, and it is also less prone to cracking, warping, twisting, thermal deformation, etc.1, (3) Noise generation due to metal-to-metal contact can be prevented by simply pasting sheet materials on both sides of the guide plate, and even if seizure occurs due to contact, it is sufficient to simply replace the sheet materials.
