This embodiment includes an information processing device 1 having a built-in clock device 3, an automatic calling device 6 for a public telephone line connected to the information processing device 1 via a connection line 4, and an information processing device 1 and a connection line 5. A connection line between the sound recognition device 7 connected via the public line automatic calling device 6 and a signal line 8 that transmits an acoustic signal from the public line automatic calling device 6 to the p1 sound recognition device and a public telephone line connected to the automatic calling device 6. 9. Note that the timepiece device 3 is composed of an electrically controllable circuit driven by a crystal oscillator.

After the time signal transmitting station is called, the public telephone line automatic calling device 6 supplies the acoustic signal to the voice recognition device 7 via the signal line 8. This voice recognition device 7 has a word string that foretells a time signal (for example, "12
We will inform you of the hour 0 minutes 0 seconds. '') and time signal oscillation sounds (for example, 440Hz 3 seconds ago, 2 seconds ago, 8 seconds ago at the current time)
80Hz), and when those acoustic signals are transmitted through the signal line 8, the connection line 5 notifies the processing section 2 of the information processing device that the acoustic signal has been recognized. When the processing unit 2 of this information processing device is informed of the recognition of the time signal by the voice recognition device 7, it sets the time to the clock device 3 via the connection line 10.

At the same time, the voice recognition device 7 is brought into a recognition enabled state. This voice recognition device 7 has a telephone voice and 440Hz oscillation sound that says "I'm home, I'd like to inform you that it's 5:00 a.m."
, 880Hz is registered, the speech recognition device 7 in this recognition possible state sequentially encodes and reports the recognition results for the input audio signal to the processing unit 2 of the information processing device. The processing unit 2 of this information processing device stops the clock device 3 and sets the time when it receives the sign ``We are here to notify you of 5:00 a.m. 0 minutes θ seconds''. This set time is set to a preset value (5:00:00) taking into account the delay in the recognition time of voice recognition. Next, from the voice recognition device 7, 440Hz 3 seconds ago, 440H 2 seconds ago
z Recognition 5 - After the 880 Hz certification report is submitted, an instruction is given to the clock device 3 to start timing. This time setting can be done instantaneously because the clock device 3 is composed of an electrical logic circuit, a counting circuit, and the like.
