芯金が所要U字形となるように曲げ加工するのに使用す
る装置に関し、特にU字形把持部を備えたウェザストリ
ップやトリム等のゴムψ軟質合成樹脂押出品の曲げ加工

3に埋設されている芯金2を、蛇行状に順設された分離
ロール群9A、9B、9C19D、9Eにより水平方向
に垂直な屈曲運動を繰り返し与えて両端薄肉部2a、2
bで分断して多数の短棚状となるように分離して、芯金
2が長手方向で三次元的可撓性を有するようにするもの
である。また、この芯金分離装置8の前には引き取り機
10が配設されているが、これがないと、曲げ加工装置
4で強力に引っ張る必要があり(加硫槽11及び芯金分
離装置8における搬送のために)、結果的にW/Sに芯
金分離工程で強力な引っ張り力が作用し損傷するおそれ
があるためである。なお、第4図中、11は加硫槽、1
