Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a product having nonadhesive surface, e.g., sealant tire, etc., by providing a short fiber layer on the surface of a tacky material in such a way as to control the stickiness of the surface and also to make the appearance beautiful. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive, etc., is coated on the surface of a tacky material, e.g., sealant, etc., as needed, and then short fibers of a fiber length of 1-5mm. preferably are spread on the surface of the adhesive coat to form a short fiber layer, for example.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Objective) The present invention relates to an article whose surface has been treated to be non-adhesive. In the past, many adhesive materials had adhesive layers exposed on the surface and were sticky and difficult to handle, or were contaminated with foreign matter such as dirt and dust, deteriorating their appearance. In particular, sealants originally perform their function by being attached to structures to prevent leakage of water, air, etc., but because the adhesive layer is exposed on the surface, the above-mentioned It was solid = 1, and defects such as stains could not be avoided.

For example, in products such as sealant tires, the sticky surface of the sealant layer applied to the inner surface of the tire is exposed, which causes problems when assembling and disassembling the rim. The sealant changes color due to migration of the anti-aging agent in the tire rubber, and although its function as a sealant remains unchanged, there is a risk of causing unnecessary anxiety to users. The present invention solves these drawbacks.

The short fibers may be uncolored, but are preferably colored with pigments, dyes, etc. so that stains are not noticeable. The material may be any material commonly called organic fiber, such as polyamide (nylon), polyester, polyvinyl acetate (vinylon), rayon, cotton, etc. The length of the short fibers is usually about 0.1 to 10 mm, preferably about 1 to 5 mm, from the viewpoint of appearance and addition.

However, in order to obtain the desired effect of the present invention, there is no problem even if the thickness is 10 mm or more. To provide the short fiber layer, the electrostatic flocking method, which is commonly used in the production of flocked products, may be used for charged materials, but in order to achieve the purpose of the present invention of non-sticking, It is not a necessary condition that the short fibers are lined up and the piles are even.
It is also possible to simply sprinkle short fibers on the surface of the adhesive material.

Any type of adhesive material may be used, but the one that has not yet been invented and is especially effective is a sealant that is exposed on the adhesive surface or the surface. The short fiber layer may be provided directly on the surface of the sealant, or the short fiber layer may be provided on the surface of the sealant by applying another adhesive or the like. In short, it is sufficient to prevent the short fiber layer from falling off due to friction or the like.

By providing a short fiber layer on the surface of the adhesive material in this manner, the surface becomes less sticky, and by using short fibers colored in an arbitrary color, the appearance can be made aesthetically pleasing.

Also, while masking a part of the sealant, a short fiber layer of a different color is provided for each unmasked part.
I can draw letters, pictures, etc. In addition, especially in the case of sealant tires, when it is desired to use a duplex for some reason, it is extremely difficult to use a tube because the sealant layer is exposed on the surface of conventional sealant tires, or the surface of the present invention By using a non-adhesive sealant tire, it is now possible to use it with a tube attached just like a normal tire. Of course, it goes without saying that the tube can then be removed and reused as a sealant tire.

A short fiber layer was provided by scattering colored nylon (T (Unitika, Velpex)). The part provided with the short fiber layer had no solid XJ stains and had a cleaner appearance than the black part without the short fiber layer. After leaving it for one year, changes in the sealant were observed. Although no functional defects such as water leakage were observed in either case, the areas without the yυ fiber layer were extremely dirty with dust, clumps, etc., whereas the areas with the short fiber layer had fading of the short fibers. Almost no change was noticed.

As a result, the surface of the sealant was no longer sticky, and the surface of the sealant -1- could be made into an arbitrary color. The thus obtained two-wood sealant tires were tested on a drum testing machine at 140 km/h.
The flow of the sealant after running for 2 hours was compared, but no deformation of the sealant layer due to flow was observed in either case. However, compared to tires without a short fiber layer, tires with a short fiber layer did not require special care when assembling and unraveling the rim.

Example 3 Sealant tires produced in the same manner as in Example 2 were assembled into rims with two pieces of wood, one with and without a short fiber layer, and 15
Two 2.0-inch nails were driven into the center and end of the tread, and air leakage was observed when the tread was run for 5,000 km at a speed of EiOKm per hour on a drum testing machine and when the nails were pulled out. However, both tires had no air leaks and were completely sealed. We removed the rims of these two tires with nail holes and tried to fit them with tubes, but it was difficult to fit the tubes on tires with exposed sealant surfaces. It was also more difficult to remove the tube and the sealant layer was deformed. - The sealant tire provided with the short fiber layer was easy to attach and detach the tube.

Example 4 Sealant tires manufactured as in the previous example with and without a short fiber In layer were installed on each of the front and rear wheels of a car, and the tires were driven by taxi for one year. After testing, the rim was unraveled and changes in the sealant were observed. The sealant tire without the short fiber layer was slightly discolored due to migration of the anti-aging agent from the rubber, but the short fibers in the sealant tire with the short fiber layer did not change at all, and the appearance was very good.

(Effects) By providing the short fiber layer as described above, the present invention can prevent the exposed portion from becoming sticky without impairing the original performance of the adhesive material.
