Claims

(1) In a copying machine in which the upper and lower parts of the main body are opened vertically with the paper transport path as the boundary, a hydraulic cylinder is installed between a predetermined position on the upper part of the main body and a predetermined position on the lower part of the main body to detect paper jams.
