内部に配設された絶縁碍子の外周の所定範囲にハウジン
グおよび取付けねじ部が設けられ、この取付けねじ部の
先端に設けられたテーパシート部に金属ガスケットが外
嵌されると共に、前記テーパシート部に接続されて前記
中心電極に対し所定の放電間隙をもって配設される接地
電極が設けられた点火プラグにおいて、前記金属ガスケ
ットの両面に複数の細溝を一定方向に刻設したことを特
