Abstract

PURPOSE:To rationalize the procedure from testing to packing of a battery-type electric apparatus by installing a battery-installation insulating member, prepared by forming conductive layers on both surfaces of a belt-like insulating sheet, between a battery and the battery contact piece of the electric apparatus and drawing the other end of the insulating member outside the apparatus so that short circuits can be developed in the member by means of a crip or the like. CONSTITUTION:A battery lid 3 is installed in a part of the case 2 of an electric apparatus 1. A battery installation part 5, in which a battery 6 is installed, is provided in an inner frame 4 and located under the battery lid 3 and facing the battery lid 3. On the bottom of the installation part 5, a battery contact piece 7 is installed which is to be brought into contact with the negative electrode of the battery 6. On the circumference side of the installation part 5, a battery contact piece 8 is installed which is to be brought into contact with the positive electrode of the battery 6. A tape-like insulating member 9, one end of which is led outside the apparatus 1, is installed between the contact piece 7 and the battery 6. The member 9 consists of an insulating sheet 10 and conductive layes 11 and 11 formed over the surfaces of the sheet 10. In driving the apparatus 1 in order to carry out a running test or the like, one end of the member 9 is held with a metallic wide-mouth crip 12 without taking out the member 9. After the test finishes, the crip 12 is removed and the apparatus 1 is subjected to packing, thereby enabling the work procedure to be rationalized.

Electrical devices that use batteries are generally sold with batteries included. In this case, the battery is usually stored alongside the electrical equipment in the same packaging box. However, this was extremely uneconomical, as the packaging box became bulky, increasing not only the product cost but also the transportation cost. Therefore, in order to eliminate the above drawbacks, Utility Model Publication No. 54-33056, ``
A storage device for attached batteries was proposed. In this method, a battery attached to an electrical device is stored in a battery storage portion formed in the electrical device with an insulating member interposed between the terminal of the battery and a connecting terminal, and the insulating member is The end can be pulled out from the battery compartment. However, according to this, the following new drawbacks arise. That is, before such electrical equipment is packaged, a running inspection is performed to perform various checks to see if it operates normally. This running inspection is for electrical equipment batteries.

As shown in the third figure, below the battery cover 3, a battery storage part 5 provided in the middle frame 4 is located opposite, and a battery 6 is housed therein. A battery contact piece 7 that contacts the cathode of the battery 6 is provided at the bottom of the battery storage portion 5, and a battery contact piece 8 that contacts the anode of the battery 6 is provided on the peripheral side thereof. A tape-shaped insulating member 9 is inserted between the battery contact piece 7 and the battery 6, and one end of the tape-shaped insulating member 9 is pulled out to the outside.

By the way, in the present invention, the insulating member 9 is composed of an insulating sheet 10 and conductive layers 11.1 formed on both surfaces thereof, as shown in the second figure.
It has a sand winch structure consisting of 1. For the insulating sheet lQ, a synthetic φj resin material such as polyimide or polyester is used. The conductive layer 1] may be formed by vapor deposition or sputtering of nickel or the like, or may be formed by pasting nickel foil or copper foil with an adhesive. Therefore, when the insulating member 9 is simply inserted between the pond 6 and the battery contact piece 7, the battery 6
and the battery contact piece 7 are insulated. In addition, when it is desired to operate this electrical equipment l for a running inspection or the like, without taking out the insulating member 9 that has been pulled out to the outside, one end of the insulating member 9 is inserted into the metal alligator clip from both sides as shown in the third figure. Hold it in your mouth at 2nd grade. As a result, the conductive layer 11 on both sides
.. 11 is short-circuited, electricity is passed between box 6 and battery contact 7, and the electrical equipment operates. After the running inspection is completed,
By removing the clip 12, the battery 60 is de-energized, and the electrical device 1 is sent for packaging as is.

In the above embodiment, the alligator clip 12 was used to short-circuit the conductive layers 11, 11, but instead of this, a familiar device such as a radio bench or a gem clip may be used as appropriate. Further, the conductive layers 1], 11 may be formed over the entire surface, or may be changed into an appropriate pattern KW as required, as shown in FIG. Furthermore, the insulating member 9 may be made by laminating two insulating sheets each having a conductive layer on one side with the conductive layer facing outward. The battery cover 3 may be openable and closable with a pinch.
